Has both high-energy fun and a relaxed dining atmosphere. One of the standout features of the layout is the bar area, which is cleverly sectioned off from the main dining room; it’s a thoughtful touch that offers a bit more privacy if you’re looking to enjoy your meal without being in the middle of the happy hour crowd. The modern and upbeat decor immediately sets a vibrant mood, making it feel fresh and contemporary the moment you walk through the door.
The service is great
The staff is friendly our food arrived impressively quick without ever feeling rushed. The highlight of the evening was definitely the atmosphere, as a live mariachi band made their way through the restaurant, even serenading us right at our table during dinner. It added such a personal, festive layer to the night. To top it all off, the food was absolutely delicious, rounding out what was a super fun experience all around. Don Tigre is a must-visit for anyone in the area looking for great eats and even better vibes.

We had been coming to Don Tigre for a while for their delicious mocaljetes. Then one Sunday we saw they had a brunch buffet so today we came back for it. It is absolutely delicious. We tried a bit of everything and loved it all. Love that it comes with an optional mimosa add on. Would definitely come back for the brunch again.

We had a group of 11 and made a reservation the same day. They put us at one table with a booth on one side, it worked very well. There wasn’t a happy hour but the food was great and the drinks tasted great. I would recommend making a reservation for groups over four as they need to combine tables. We would come back here again. We parked on the street and it was easy.

Totally did not know this establishment got packed right into my neighborhood…where have I been? Well we popped in here mid-week for some birthday drinks. Love the infamous colorful Mexican theme all around. The hostess was very pleasant. Menu items were of a decent variety. The Watermelon Sangria was sweet & refreshing. I’ve had fish tacos numerous times and it’s always been with some type of white fish, but here they offered salmon tacos and we obliged. Very flavorful and cooked to perfection. We ordered chickens flautas as an appetizer and they came out tasting very fresh. We also had the Mexican Buffalo Wings which also were yummy, not hot at all. I’m glad this spot was finally put on my radar, I will definitely be back!

This spot is a nice little gem in a quiet area. We visited around 4:30pm on a Saturday afternoon and it was not busy at all. It’s a nice quaint restaurant. Our server was attentive and accommodating. The food was good and plentiful. We were a party of eight and everyone enjoyed their food and took home leftovers. We had the chicken burrito, the fajitas, the fried chicken torta, and the massive beef quesadilla that my daughter and her friend shared and they still had enough for them both to have leftovers. I would definitely visit again and recommend!

I really love this place. Everything about Don Tigre rules. I had chips, guacamole, and salsa, and the portions were fantastic. They give you so much guac! I also had the street corn and the jalapeño poppers, which were also fantastic. There was also a non alcoholic beverage that I got that tasted better than anything the competition can cook up. The music they play in the background is also insanely catchy. The tacos were good too. Overall, this place was wonderful. If I could give this place more than five stars, I definitely would.

By far some of the most authentic Mexican food in the area — the quality is truly unmatched. I highly recommend this restaurant! It’s exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and has such a warm, inviting atmosphere.

I recently dined at Don Tigre and had the pleasure of being served by Beatriz, who truly made our meal memorable. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and a great attitude that set the tone for our dining experience.

Beatriz was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, providing insightful recommendations that helped us choose some amazing dishes. Her attentiveness was impressive; she checked in frequently without being intrusive, ensuring that our drinks were always topped off and that we had everything we needed.

Not only was she efficient, but her friendly demeanor made us feel welcome. It was clear that she genuinely cared about our experience, which made a significant difference.

Overall, Beatriz exemplifies excellent service, and I highly recommend requesting her the next time you visit Don Tigre. She truly enhanced our dining experience, and I look forward to returning!

Food was excellent, customer service needs some improvements. 7.7/10.

We ordered the following:

Birria egg rolls: 10/10 – extremely good and flavorful, I almost ordered a second one.

Don tigres Classic margaritas: 7/10 – basic margarita, nothing special.

Molcajete mar y Tierra: 10/10 – absolutely delicious and a huge portion for one person. Has Crab as well. Would order again.

Burrito bowl steak: 8/10 – no beans and guacamole. Pretty basic bowl, Meat was very seasoned.

Esquites: 8.5/10 – pretty good, nothing major.

Customer service needs improvement because although there were 4 people walking around, only one seemed actually in charge of seating people, putting in food orders, bringing drinks and food. Had to ask for several things twice, but with one person doing everything, I can see how stuff would get lost.

Before I get into my criticisms, I’d like to start with everything I liked about the restaurant.

Me and my fiancé went in on a Monday night, so as you can imagine the establishment wasn’t super busy or full of people; however, there were salsa classes going on which I thought was pretty cool. Looks like a fun activity!

Our server was perfect. I wish I got his name. He was attentive and made sure everything was going good for us. Our food came out in a timely manner.

I ordered the Raspberry margarita, it was definitely on the sweeter side but it was phenomenal. (Picture attached) who can be upset drinking a beautiful margarita?

Now, my only issue was with the food, in particular, our appetizer.

I ordered the Hawaiian fajitas. I really enjoyed them! It tasted great and I loved the corn tortillas as well.

Now that all of that is out of the way, our appetizer… we ordered the jalapeño poppers with fries (photo attached) .I LOVE jalapeño poppers, and I make them at home sometimes. I’ve also had them frozen….. they literally gave us all oven fries and jalapeño poppers, in fact I recognized both brands . It was just extremely disappointing to pay 12 dollars for them just to warm up frozen food in an oven and put it on a plate. That is far below restaurant standard. I think they should just take it off the menu, I’ll buy it myself at Costco I attached photos of the suspected brands
