Really nice time with my family but I didn’t like the way the food was toned down for the area. Don’t be scared of spices. Represent! I didn’t detect any onion or garlic or pique. Other than that my food was delicious. I’ll be back to visit. Give it another try. Thank you ☺️

Flew in from Phoenix to visit Mom who had a back operation. Came over to DuQuion for a Walmart stop and decided to try this place out. 3.5⭐’s. Service was wonderful.. kept our table of 5 with drinks at all times and very tentative to our needs. Portion sizes were excellent..

The best Mexican restaurant we’ve ate at. Food is always delicious and 99% of the time we get great and friendly service. Though not all employees are aware of the mild sauce they use in place of the salsa for chips.

Server was great, but then the food came. The cheesy chicken rice came and had very little cheese. The dish had less than 3Tbls of cheese. My family loved this place at one time but now the serving are small for what you pay for.

Yes would recommend as best Mexican restaurant in area. Salsa was mild and good texture. Ordered Burrito bearing restaurant’s name with beef. Definitely lived up to having the Tequilas name on it. If you hungry then may want to order 2 of them. Service was great as everyone’s drinks stayed full, extra chips brought before running out. Only issue was super small one but the salt shaker brought to table needed to be wiped down first.

I have been going to Dons since I was 7 years old. For the most part I have generally good food. This last time, that my wife and I went there, not good. The food tasted like it had been sitting which is weird because we just ordered it. Chimichangas were not like they typically are, they weren’t even fried. The service was okay but it was overshadowed by the cold temperature of the food. The owner was not in the building when we were served our food, I believe he had ran to the bank maybe.
