Formally known as Casamigos, Don Tequila Mexican Restaurant was established October 2017. Our goal is to be Naples Best Mexican Restaurant. We hope that our restaurant will be a place where guests of all ages could come together to experience the unique flavors,along with the art and culture of Mexico – all in a casual setting. The CLASSIC margarita (specify your preferred tequila brand) is a must every time; perfectly balanced, refreshing, and consistently delicious… if you are a first-timer, the large might shock you so maybe start with a medium. The food is always high quality and absolutely delicious. Their chips, salsa, and guacamole are hands-down the best in SWFL. And if you’re a spice lover, definitely ask for their special homemade HOT sauce! It is the real deal. Some of our staple favorites include the carnitas dinner, the steak quesadilla, enchiladas super rancheras, and their sizzling fajitas (and trust me, so much more!). On top of all that, we love the location, and the staff makes every visit fun. The energy is warm and welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care about their guests.

Omg, that was probably the best tacos i’ve ever had. carnitas are life changing like i can’t go back to other restaurants this blew everything out of the park by far. Renzo and Richard were so kind and helpful. salsa is amazing and so is the hot sauce. please go here.

I had such a great visit at Don Tequila. I ordered the El Patron burrito and highly suggest it. It was delicious and full of flavor. I also tried the horchata, and it tasted so authentic. The decor is vibrant, colorful, and creates such a fun and lively vibe. I love that they play Mexican music because it adds to the whole experience.

Edit: Went in for a late lunch today. The Mexican style tacos were substantially meaty and tasty. Our rocks margaritas were also very good. There were a couple issues. First, the free chips and salsa have changed and are not nearly as good as they once were. The second thing was a kitchen mistake – the carnitas was WAY overly salty. The staff concurred and comped us with two to-go carne asada tacos. Felt bad but they were glad we brought it to their attention. Service was great all around.

We like to go for Taco Tuesdays. The food has always been good, but the last time we were there, I paid my bill without looking closely at it. Then I realized it wasn’t our bill, it was for the table next to us. No big deal as the totals were about the same, but it could have been a problem.

Gabriel was really attentive and kind, the cocktails were strong n made really pretty, and the decorations are really nice, but that’s when the good things end. The major issue was the food, very brand and flavorless. The tortilla chips were cold, the salsa was too runny. Also very expensive for what it was.
The bathroom had a strong urine smell as well, which is pretty off putting.

We stopped in today for lunch. The food was really good. They have lunch specials during the week but not on weekends. We ended up ordering Steak Tacos and a Burrito with chicken off their sides menu (we were looking for lighter/small options since we were going to the beach after). Both were very delicious. We also tried a drink off their menu called The Hawaiian. The flavor was good, but whew.. it was strong. It was a little too potent for our taste but we can appreciate that you get your moneys worth. We will probably be back again in the future to try their main dishes for dinner.
