Don Tap is one of my regular visits. Very open space, so during busy hours it can feel a bit loud; however, I have always been able to enjoy my food and company. Every plate is steaming and arrives quick! They also have weekly specials that are written on the chalkboard at the front. One of Minot’s staple restaurants

It had a fairly small dining area, but for how busy it was. Our large group got seated within the time they said. Our waitress and all the other staff were friendly, helpful and kind. The food was good/fine but the quality didn’t seem the best. One thing that stood out were their churros, those were delicious.

Ordered take out on my way back to Canada and this restaurant is amazing. The food was so flavourful and colorful just like the restaurant. Showed the lady at the front a photo of what I would like. 3 enchiladas, with rice, beans, salad and they gave a large bag of tortilla chips with salsa. Paid $16 USD. It was prepared and in my hands within 15 minutes of taking the order.

My first time visiting Don Tapatio was absolutely fantastic. Chips and salsa were very fresh. Guacamole was made to order-fresh and seasoned very well. I ordered a Paloma which was so unbelievably good. For my meal, I ordered a chicken, steak and carnitas taco. I would choose this restaurant over any other place in town. 10/10 would recommend.

Large choice on the menu, food was good, drinks were good, what more to ask for!

We heard many good things about a few Mexican restaurants around Minot but nothing ever tasted as good as back home UNTIL Don Tapatío. The food and the environment made me feel like I wasn’t even in Minot anymore. After years of disappointment, Minot FINALLY has a decent Mexican restaurant. I have no complaints. I have been wanting to try Birria tacos for some time and I’m so glad my first time trying them was here. They did not disappoint. Worth every penny!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Love their new space in the old Paradiso building!
I had the Camarones a la Diabla, which was absolutely phenomenal, and so much food that I ate it for dinner later.
We had a large group, but we only waited like 10-15 minutes for our food and our server was super attentive.

Had deep fried chimi and it was not deep fried at all and could not find the taco meat. Brother same thing with his burrito no meat. The rice, beans, chips were good. Service was very good. Probably wont be back until they the beef.

Been going to this place since it opened a few years ago and was located downtown. Glad to see it expanded to Broadway. Service is great EXCEPT for 2 experiences I had with a younger girl as my waitress. She wasn’t attentive and was a bit rude, place wasn’t packed, it wasn’t particularly busy so I don’t really understand why.

Always excited to try new offerings in our town, and this was no exception. The food tasted great and I would definitely like to try more items on the menu. I was sat upstairs, and while nice, the service was lacking a bit, as my drink went empty a couple times for extended periods unfortunately, hench the docking a star. I will return for more when the opportunity arises
