The food was great. The pricing was not. I’ve never been here before and my husband and his family have but I haven’t in the first time I go. I was expecting a bigger burrito than what I got. I got the burrito don Soul and I was expecting a thicker burrito and for the price of what I got it just wasn’t worth it to me not trying to be a downer, but it just wasn’t good. The service was great and the atmosphere was but nothing else was really with the food too.

We are traveling from AZ and stopped here about an hour before closing. They gave us excellent customer service, our server and all the workers were so kind. Delicious food!! Got the steak chimichanga and chicken enchiladas. Very nice inside and loved the outdoor seating.

Great selection of Mexican food. Chicken with chorizo and bacon covered with queso? Not sure if it’s authentic but it sure is delicious. The monster burrito is large and flavorful. Good margarita specials and happy hour. The staff was quick and courteous. The atmosphere is nice, not too loud which is appreciated.

This is the go-to, gold standard of Mexican restaurants in Mattoon. Service is friendly, the atmosphere is casual yet not ostentatious and the food is very good. I like that the place isn’t run down and that I don’t feel like I have to take a shower after eating here.

We thought we had found our new favorite spot to eat in Mattoon… until today. There was a roach in our Vegetarian Fajitas. Irony? We stopped eating, notified management, they didn’t charge us. We left. Perhaps if everyone wasn’t always on their phones they could be more aware of this going on.
