Great authentic Mexican restaurant. We visited twice in December 2025—once for lunch and once for dinner.
The flavors were excellent! It’s hard to describe the authenticity, but this is truly a must-visit place. The people are friendly, humble, and very welcoming, which makes you want to come back again. See for yourself!

The Don Rigo in Amelia is definitely my favorite location and a big reason is the waitress, Taylor. Every time I come here she’s super nice, really attentive, and just makes the whole experience better. I’ve been to other locations but this one always stands out because of her. If you’re coming to Don Rigo in Amelia, ask for Taylor (the red head)!

Second time. The pork for enchilada suiza was greasy both times Nachos were not what ordered, server was rude. The chorizo dip was ok. So we have spent over 125.00 for 2 meals at different times. And that’s too much!

We were recommended to go here from 1 of our friends. They had great music. The food was amazing. The server was on it to get us refills of our drinks but also our salsa. Just a great experience. I will never been able to eat the guacamole anywhere else now that I have had it here. It was so good. I definitely recommend eating that.

Doordash order. Dasher arrived to pick up our order and was told they had to remake the order. Only thing is Don Rigos charged us a second time for the order. Now after waiting for 2 hours and being charged $120 for 2 meals, we still haven’t received our order. 3 dashers have been there to pick it up and have left. Absolute clown show going on up there tonight. Thing is, the restaurant hasn’t even attempted to contact us to let us know what was and is going on. We only knew of the double charge from the original dash driver. Shady business practice.
