We have been here several times and have always had good experiences. The food, atmosphere and service are always good, but this time we ordered an appetizer from Happy Hour menu and 3 tacos from the Taco Tuesday menu that were for ‘dine in only’. We ordered cocktails and also food from the regular menu. We ordered more than we could eat since we planned to take leftovers home. When we asked for boxes, the server told us we couldn’t take the leftover tacos home because they are for dine in only and I replied “We, are dining in”. His response was to show us the ‘dine in only’ on the Taco Tuesday menu and brought us 1 box for the regular menu leftovers. Other than Buffets (which does nit apply here), I’ve never heard of a restaurant refusing to allow you to take leftover food that you purchased.
If this is truly how the policy is intended to be enforced, I think it needs to be clearly communicated before taking an order, so customers are not ordering extra food that will be wasted. If would help for management to clarify if the meaning of ‘dine-in only,’ means no leftovers can be taken home and maybe should update the menus. If the server was mistaken, then management can address with server/s as needed.

Ordered to go for lunch. The food has a great flavor. I do wish they had a special salad dressing other than just the norms.
We then went back for dinner and it was delicious. I had the number 11 and we also had Don Ricardo’s burrito. Both were absolutely amazing so much food. I had to save it till the next day and even reheating it the next day the food tasted very very good I would absolutely be going back and would recommend

We read the reviews and noticed the weird contrast of Five- and Four-Stars, versus One-Stars. Even though one can sift through many One-Stars as petty, some registered as legit so we were cautious. Anyone can have a bad day.
The food is perfectly fine, old-school Mexican. I have high blood pressure so I can TASTE too much salt and that wasn’t a problem with what I ate.
The service was perfectly fine, as well. We were greeted AT the door, seated immediately on a Sunday at 12.30, and service was friendly, conscientious and prompt. Absolutely no delays.
The ambience is, again, old-school Mexican restaurant.
The total of our bill was $211 (including 20%/$35 tip) for four of us with one appetizer, three desserts and three alcoholic beverages.
The ONLY down points I had were, first, that I’d’ve preferred to’ve sat on the Patio but it was REALLY loud out there. Inside was perfectly fine though and it wasn’t packed. Second, the on-line reservation system through Yelp requires the addition of Yelp’s invasive app, which wasn’t going to happen and wasn’t the restaurant’s fault

After watching the sound of freedom with some friends, we decided to go have some lunch the only place open on the Fourth of July for Mexican food was Don Ricardo‘s what a blast of the past. I remember when they were in the mall their huevos rancheros were my absolute favorite, considering they don’t serve lunch after 2 PM. I was unable to order that but they did have taco Tuesday so we got shredded beef Syria Shredded chicken, crispy and soft tacos. We also got some chicken wings. The bean dip and the salsa were absolutely amazing and the chips we had the best service from Chris. We got some margaritas and a Jamaica margarita had a nice little tang to it what a unexpected little treat, the service is great the location was clean and like I said we had the best service from Chris 10 out of 10 would totally recommend.
