Don Ramon is an excellent Cuban restaurant to get some authentic Cuban food. The night I went with my family they were short on staff, otherwise I probably would have given them 5 stars for service. However, the atmosphere was authentic Cuban style and the food was definitely authentic. I went with the Churrasco steak, cooked medium (cooked perfectly), with black beans and rice with tostones on the side. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great! Make sure to ask for the garlic sauce with the tostones for dipping, it makes them that much better. Nothing was over salted and even without adding salt, everything was very flavorful. If you live in West Palm Beach or visiting out of town and are looking for some authentic Cuban food, look no further than Don Ramon!

We stopped for a late lunch at this Don Ramon since we are in the area. Not been to this location though we have tried several Don Ramon restaurants for dinners. Lunch was nice and we appreciate that food tasted freshly made though it was late. Empanada (both chicken and beef) were so juicy and pastry so flaky. Delicious! Our Cuban sandwich and fries were tasty but would have been perfect if only they pressed the bread to make it crusty. We were so looking forward to that hot crusty Cuban sandwich. And the complimentary bread was heavenly (yes we do judge even the free bread lol!). This location is really nicely decorated and spacious but we sat outside to ensure the nice breezy sunny afternoon in Florida.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I felt I had to share this experience. The service started off great and the food was exceptional. My only complaint is that our server, Jenny, confronted my family in the restroom about not leaving a tip. While I understand that tips are important, tipping is optional, not something customers should be pressured about. Her nasty attitude completely ruined what had been a good experience. Because of this, we will not be coming back.

Nice clean place. Good portion sizes and pricing. Enjoyed my brothers birthday there. We were a larger group and they did good. Menu is definitely more for the meat eaters. But I was was able to get an app with sides and everything tasted great

I had a very pleasant experience. The food was delicious and the staff was so incredibly friendly. From being greeted by lovely people at the door to having such a pleasant waiter, I couldn’t ask for more. I order the Don Ramon steak and it did not disappoint. The lemonades are so delicious as well! I will definitely be back.

Brought my family for dinner. Everyone enjoyed their entries tremendously. The fresh lemonade is some of the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the palomilla steak! The portions are huge but you will want more! Leave room for dessert!

So why this particular Don Ramon’s? This particular Don Ramon Cuban Cuisine restaurant is one of my absolute favorites. I love the food, today I had the roasted chicken with white rice and black beans of course and it was delicious. The mojito was one of my favorites so far and I’ve had a few mojitos in my day. The flan was just I’m so glad you asked . The service is extremely, extremely thorough. I mean to the last minute the servers are working together to make your experience perfect. The food is always fresh and delicious. I especially love the chicken chunks! They are so flavorful and juicy. Not too crunchy but crunchy enough. The rice is always superb and the beans. Well let me tell you how I score beans, if you can have them alone, no rice, no meats and the flavor keeps you eating them as if they were the entree then you know they are good! Needless to say these were great. And no, I didn’t finish them. But it’s because I was stuffed and I didn’t want to ruin my experience. I want to always crave more. The mojito was perfect not too strong or minty. Just right and the Cuban coffee was just what I needed after a long day! So if you’re looking for a place where you can have your mom’s food, with excellent service and a wonderful ambiance (music and all) then this is definitely worth the trip. And yes, the prices are reasonable. So come expecting great service and hungry! I trust you’ll come back for more! #enjoy
