Hello, I normally don’t do this but I feel like it was necessary this time around. I came to this location and we order half a chicken and the chicken was raw, I went up to the person in charge and approached her nicely and she smirked and laughed saying okay, proceeded to only change one piece even tho both piece were raw, I told her that is cross contamination that I needed a whole new half a chicken please on a new plate and she kept smirking then gave me a whole new half a chicken which was also raw. My wife is also nursing which wouldn’t be good for the baby. Also my wife wanted to use and change our babies diapers and toilets were disgusting.

I have never seen the chicken come out of the grill and when you ask for a chicken order straight from the grill no matter how long the wait, the server, totally unprofessional, refuses saying that all the chicken kept in the pantry was always fresh. It could be true, but unfortunately, on one occasion I noticed by its taste that it was not that fresh.

The chicken was not fresh on my last visit, very dry and overcooked. Sauces are tasting bad. Tres leches was good on the bottom but top side was regular cake.

Yummy and flavorful chicken; not too salty. Price not too bad. Nice isn’t too bad especially if you get the family set and split the cost. Big portions on the sides. Would come back. Their bread pudding definitely worth a try.

Brought the whole family here on a vacation and had a FANTASTIC meal all around. The chicken was perfectly cooked and wonderfully flavorful. We got some of each side dish and loved all of them- especially the yucca. We’re trying to see if we can get back here for more before we head home at the end of our trip.

I love Dont Pollo but when is fresh…. I recommend people to double check in your order because they been giving people cold chicken like leftovers from the day before I just order half chicken and it was cold and hard to eat….

Oh boy, did this hit the spot! I hadn’t been to a Don Pollo in over a year since moving and when I found myself in Rockville close to dinner time I had to indulge. The Rockville staff was impressively friendly and helpful; thank you all. A shout out to the Glenmont location that got me hooked on this deliciousness.

Somehow this lady Liz decided to greet with really bad attitude when my husband ordered 2 x 1/2 chicken with 2 sides combo.
Somehow she feeling smart to order the same thing but twice of the price. Even charging extra for the dressing without mentioning anything and not even end up giving us the amount of dressing we are paying for. ♀️ I am not sure what’s going on with her today but her attitude and the whole thing just making us never want to step in there again.
Watch out for your bills in case someone try to play smart! 1/2 chicken with 2 sides it’s only around $13 and it suppose to come with 3 dressing (1 green, 1 mayo, 1 salad) if you have salad. So smart to lose business for long term. Never gonna come to this location again since there’s way more of don pollo that’s having way better attitude than this Liz. 😉

Very good grilled chicken and sides. Quite popular place so be prepared to wait a few minutes during the lunch time.
