Came here to dine out on the weekend. Place is small but not horrible. About the only thing ai can complain is the J train passing by but if you enjoy your food like I did, your mind will ignore the sound.
Ordered chaufa mixed rice and it was delicious with the excellent seasoning, it was salted perfectly and I could taste the ginger which most chaufas seem to lack.
Other people with me ordered a steak with green spaghetti that I had a taste of, the spaghetti was amazing! Everyone but one person enjoyed their food but that particular person ordered fries and steak which I never really recommend except when youre in a fast food place. Not that the fries were bad but if you go to a restaurant order their typical platters to enjoy.
Very satisfied here would definitely come back again. Might be me but this Jamaica ave location seasons their rice better than the Rockaway location.

I ordered Salchipapas and this is how thin the salchichas are. Aside from that this was a takeout order and when I denied tip, they started acting very rude.

I went in to celebrate with my husband. There were no customers, but they still looked too busy to acknowledge us. When they seated us and we were given the menu, a lady also told us the menu for the day. I ordered three different dishes, one after the other, and I was told they ran out of that dish. Even one that was on the list for today! I was blatantly told, “It would take two hours to make. It’s like playing the lottery.” Um, WHAT?! They charged us for the drinks with no apology and no customer service etiquette. I had only taken one sip, and they didn’t even try to help us stay or offer anything else. You’re in the food and customer service industry!!! You can do better!

Update: They’re still an excellent restaurant. One time, even the chef came to ask how we were doing. Great service, I’m impressed. Even during deliveries, they are very quick and have a perfect handoff. Well done!

First time coming here was a little nervous because the food is a little pricey. Everything was Amazing. Ordered a whole chicken with a large rice and sweet plantains. They even gave a free tamale which was a surprise. So Good I will be back and worth the price. I hope I get a free tamale next time 😉

This place has no heat, so try to take your food out, I ordered a chicken soup, waited a good 20 minutes, $13,00, I spent a good time going through the menu and I was able to compare prices with other Peruvian places in the area and they are pricey. I preferred Cabaña Perusna. Soup was not that great the chicken was overheated the meat was darker than usual. I won’t b going there anymore.

Great flavourful food, with friendly staff. Food is fresh and affordable. The Peruvian chicken is juicy and delicious. The sauces are a great addition to the meals, along with the chicken fried rice.. Will 100% go back.
