The team here is extremely nice, they explained everything on the menu. We ordered extra food just to try everything and everything came out at a great pace! They provided complimentary chip and salsas within 10mins of us being seated. This is a new place, they are working through updates on their menu but definitely worth a try! Please support this local business, be patient and be kind! They are great people that make really good food! Their drinks are worth it!! Highly recommend.

100% authentic Mexican food. We came here for my mom’s birthday(party of 5). We ordered SECO DE CHIVO, MOLCAJETES(mixto), NEW YORK STEAKS, and FLAUTAS. Everything was satisfying and delicious.
The servers Andrea and Brian went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. They explained the menu with patience, and we didn’t feel rushed. THANK YOU!
We danced, laughed, ate well and enjoyed every moment!! They played LAS MAÑANITAS . Cleanliness top notch. Last but not least the owners were professional, friendly and patient. We will be coming back. Que viva Mexico y Ecuador .

We had a great experience at El Patrón restaurant. We tried the cheese empanadas, picaditas with chicken, and fried banana — everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. You can really taste the authenticity in the food. The service was also excellent, very friendly and attentive. Definitely a place I would recommend and come back to!

The food was great. We had the shrimp and chicken fajita – shrimps were pretty big and cooked perfectly. The chicken was a bit dry but very good. The chicken wings, excellent!! Birria tacos, crispy and very meaty. We also tried the Ecuadorian empanadas – very tasty, so much flavour. Desserts – tres leches, flan and the churros, all three desserts were perfect. Overall, delicious authentic Mexican food. We enjoyed everything, had a great experience.

Food portions were large and a reasonable price. We ordered quesadillas, fish fillet, and the large appetizer for the table. Some of the desserts they did not have that day. Staff was friendly and they made my dad’s birthday special, which was appreciated. Would return. They renovated the space from the fox and fiddle with great art work.

I’ve lived in this area for over 15 years, watched the TTC station built and the NEW LRT station is like a 1/2 block from this front door!
And what a welcome addition to the businesses in this area. I was worried it was going to be a franchise fast food spot. Instead we have beautiful ( delicious ) culture.
My first visit was solo – amazing soft Tacos and the “El Pastor” was so good I took more home for the kids.
The dessert is JUST starting up ( fresh Churros soon!) but I got the “Flan” but when it came it was ON TOP of a soft moist chocolate cake…..”ChocoFlan” they call it. Philippino fans of Flan will LOVE this.

They have a beautiful varied menu and have priced this to be affordable for the area. A beautiful space to bring friends and family.

We decided to go to Don patron for our last day of our office before the holidays. We were a big group, we were 13. We arrived and they take a little longer for our drinks in the menu they have Jamaica, tamarind and horchata, some of our co-workers are not Latin so they want to try tamarind and Jamaica but they didn’t have any, just horchata, there was a lady and a young guy that we think they were training him. They were very nice even they give us a round of drinks because they realized that was getting long for our service.
Anyway, some dishes were good the cheese with chorizo has a good flavour just very tiny container. The cochinita pibil torta was good, but for someone that try the cochinita before was lack of flavor. For the ones not Latin they like them. The very good food was the birria tacos and the molcajete, good size and flavors
I think there is things to improve but I am hoping the review help them to make this place a great place, I see potential.
Music is for a restaurant, with happy music, not personal music, the begging they have good salsa music and theb they put corridos, I try to be neutral and this is the kind of music you don’t put in a restaurant.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Don Patron, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond by singing Happy Birthday and surprising me with a cake, which made the evening feel extra special.
The portion sizes were very generous, and everything was well-prepared and enjoyable. My entire group had a great time, and the atmosphere made it the perfect place to celebrate.
