I ordered a Kids Cheese Frenchees with a Fry/Ring Combo upgrade. Large side of Pickles. My husband knew he wanted the Baked Potato Soup so he went with a reserved #2 Cheeseburger Combo instead of the usual Double Don.

Food was all done well and came out quickly. Soon we were the only ones dining inside and I asked if the lobby was closed. They said it was still open another hour and to please take our time. The entire staff went out of their way to be personable and accommodating!

We had nowhere else to be so I had a couple of $1.39 Margaritas. Such a Classic .

Medium sized child got Chicken Strips but they were a bit different and she wasn’t thrilled . Little one opted for Cheese Frenchees, he likes to mix it up. My husband Loves the Double Don with everything piled on a burger! I also got the Frenchees, kids sized, just upgraded the fry. Extra Extra Pickles! Fries were a bit underdone this time which was a super bummer cuz we all love them ordinarily.

Boys shared a Chocolate Shake. Great place to get them! It’s been ages since I’ve had a buck 39 Marg so I got a Strawberry on the Rocks.

We were mid order when I realized there was a digital screen in front of me. This was one of the last old school places filling out tickets by hand and ripping off our order number.

Great spot for a fried grilled cheese and burger! The food came out hot and fresh. The onion rings were nice and crispy with their in house sauce. The staff was very friendly and nice.

Food was great! Best fast food burger I’ve ever had. Service was good. Everything was fresh & the best part was the price! We seriously spent $20 on 2 meals. Also, inside condiments were free & unlimited…does anywhere do that anymore?? Will definitely be going back!

Very disappointed on the quality and it continues to decline! I was eating my taco salad when I found the stalk/core in it. Thank goodness I didn’t bite into it. Unacceptable! Employees are always friendly and polite.

Stopped by for lunch the other day with family. Prices are decent for adult meals. Pictured is the Double Don meal and a kids chicken strip meal. Sandwich was great. Fries were a solid B that will quickly turn into a cold, mushy D- if you don’t eat them fast enough. They also salted kids chicken strips, which was a bit much.

They serve alcohol, which is really cool for a fast food place. Beer and margaritas. Decent prices for what you get.

They also have self-serve ranch and some kind of southwest sauce, both of which are tasty, and they get bonus points for not trying to scalp customers for little sauce cups like most places do anymore.

My single onion ring was really good. Next time I might skip the fries for some of those.

**Small complaints**
I don’t like is the fact that they are still using Styrofoam. It’s 2022 folks, time to upgrade for the environment.

The cup lids are behind the counter somewhere. If you or your kid drops one, you can’t just go grab a new one like you can at most places.

Bathrooms were NASTY. But at least they had paper towels along with the electric germ FACTORIES that people call “dryers.” I didn’t see a diaper changer, but I didn’t look in the handicap stall.

Kidsmeal portions are… tiny. If your kid is over the age of 3-4, consider getting them an adult meal.

Don and Millie’s serves great comfort food. The burgers are good and cooked perfectly, juicy but not too greasy. The cheese frenchies are crisp and not over fried. They have dipping sauces for the fries and rings, and they have 99cent margaritas and 1.99 long neck beers. It’s a pretty good value.

The theme is a fun blast to the past of the 50’s and 60’s with musicto complement. The food is pretty good for fast food. The lower score is because of the visual uncleanness on doors, windows, and floors. The carpet and tile floors were both sticky.

Honest Reviews
LETS BE HONEST review:

I visited Don & Millie’s today in Lincoln and unfortunately left feeling extremely disappointed. For over $10, I expected a decent meal, but what I received was far from it. The cheeseburger combo was not only small but also unappetizing. The burger was overly salty and dripping wet leaving the bun a soggy mess, making it hard to enjoy, and the portion of fries was shockingly small—hardly worth the price.

Additionally, the cleanliness of the establishment was subpar. Tables and surfaces were not properly wiped down, and there were bits of food scattered beneath the tables, which made the overall dining experience uncomfortable.

To make matters worse, when I tried to address my concerns with the staff, they didn’t seem interested in hearing my feedback. In an economy where every dollar counts, paying $11 for such a poor experience feels unacceptable.

On a positive note the bathrooms smelled fruity and clean ish.

This used to be one of my favorite places to go to grab it a quick affordable bite to eat. It’s sad to see such a shocking price hike yet poor quality in food and theprice.

My only regret was not going a block up the street and buying a $5 cheeseburger combo meal from McDonald’s.

A little pricey but not unfairly. The food *tastes* like it should be a little expensive.
Drive thru service was fine but unremarkable.

Ive been an assistant manager in charge of hospitality at a Chic-fil-a and I would have tolerated what happened to us. We arrived 35 minutes before closing and a young brunette was already putting chairs up on top of tables. 5 of us crammed in a booth since all tables were closed. Then right at 9 sharp she came over and told us the dining room was now closed. I even saw a man standing at front counter and she was mopping around him…wrong on so many levels. Even if the food is good would never want to spend my money at a place that was so disrespectful to customers. Still upset about it…
