This place has great food and the best birria. We had the “pizza”, made between 2 giant tortillas. It was incredible! The people there are so nice and welcoming. I’m about 40 min drive from here but come just because I’m craving their birria tacos.

Salsa from the salsa bar is spicy! Delicious, but spicy… So you know.
They also have warmed queso on the salsa bar.
I got the Chile verde plate and an Adobada street taco. Both were fantastic!
Then I got an asada taco for good measure…it was fantastic as well.
The meat here is on point!

Best carne asada super burrito in the county, hands down! Fresh, HUGE, and so delicious. Just enough spice. Friendly staff too, and a cute little setting to sit and eat if you choose to.

Went to Don Luis at 8 pm, and they close at 9 pm, and the staff was preparing for close. However, when we came in, we were greeted with open arms!
I shared that it was my wife’s first visit to Don Luis, and she was excited to try it. The chef, Fernando, was taking a break but quickly hopped into action. I asked him if shrimp was available tonight, and he said ohh yes.
My wife ordered two shrimp tacos, rice, and beans. I ordered something off the menu. I ordered Shrimp Diablo, but I wanted it over their salad plate along with extra Diablo sauce to be used as dressing. Turn it up a notch please, I asked.
Fernando didn’t disappoint! This man is a true chef! Anything he makes is delicious! Debs shrimp tacos were not only presented beautifully, but were amazing!
Now my Shrimp Diablo was over the top in flavor with a hot bite of chili! Ohh my goodness, Fernando is the man! What an awesome chef.
I really like their Chili Verde, and everything is good but order shrimp if Fernando is cooking, he is the shrimp master!

Classic Californian take on Mexican street food. With the California price tag. Friendly counter service food served to go, but a nicely designed covered outdoor seating area is welcoming to enjoy your meal. Salsa bar and chips get you started. No alcohol here, but you can purchase at the gas station next door and consume on premise. Seriously good road trip fare.

We were recommended this place by several friends they gave such good ratings on the food and they were absolutely right I had a chili relleno for lunch and my sweetie had a cheese enchilada that he said was absolutely amazing we will definitely be going back and we encourage you guys all to go there wonderful wonderful people wonderful food!
