Formerly a Mexican Cuban restaurant they have now converted to a Burger and Wing restaurant. And while that sounds like an odd progression they have absolutely nailed it. The service was great. They behaved as though they were genuinely happy we were there. One of us has an allergy and the server was attentive in making sure the dish was prepared appropriately and advised us on what sauces , etc. to avoid. You order at the counter and choose your own seat inside or outside. There is a large selection of sweet and unsweetened teas available! My husband described the double bacon burger as one of the best he has ever eaten. The wings and spiced pickles were great. It can get kinda of loud here. Only thing I would change would be a real fork for my salad instead of a plastic one.

Most of what they serve here is really good. The burgers are amazing! Love them. Today I decided to try the BLT and was extremely disappointed. There was one tiny limp strip of bacon on each half, with a small wedge of tomato and leaf of wilted lettuce… and tons of melted American cheese. It was honestly more of a grilled cheese, and maybe a kids size of it. Especially for $10….no. I do NOT recommend it. I’ll probably go back for the burgers but will never order the BLT again.

If you’re out here hungry on Hiway 283 in the middle of nowhere, stop here. You don’t have a lot of choices but, this isn’t settling for any old thing. This place is great. Had the hot wings and mango habanero . WOW! Perfect amount of heat and flavor. Not greasy. The regular cheeseburger also was awesome on the jalapeño bun. A little too much mayo made it hard to eat without the bun & veggie’s sliding around, but a perfectly cooked and seasoned patty. They have 8 different kinds of tea! and they are wonderful. They make their own ketchup-which was great-you can actually taste the tomato-and a special sauce which was kinda like an aioli-Don sauce. The dirty pretzels also don’t disappoint-bacon & cheese. This place was great and worth the stop.

I’m giving this place two stars and that might be generous. First off, service was slow, then we ordered a few margaritas and the one on the rocks was horrible. It tasted like chemicals/cheap mix. Not drinkable. And when my friend didn’t drink it the waitress asked why, she told her it tasted like chemicals. Even though she did not drink it they still charged her for the drink.
The queso dip was inedible. Not sure how you screw that up. No flavor.
I will say my street tacos were pretty good. My friends food was ok as well. It was just horrible drinks, service, and queso.
I’d never go back here for sure!

Wow!! I had a burger meal deal. I didn’t want fries and was worried only 6 onion rings wouldn’t be enough. But their onion rings are huge! Husband informed that was the best chicken fried steak he has had in a long time.

Well I’m counting my lucky stars. We were driving up from a trip to Mexico and when we started getting hungry we couldn’t find anything around. I knew we were coming up on Coleman so I looked for places here and one of the options was Don Luis’. We prefer to eat local when traveling so this place seemed like the natural choice instead of the sonic just in front of it. Im glad we made the choice! We got the happy hour cheeseburger, my mom got the pulled pork sandwich, and the food came out fast and hot. The burgers were delicious, my mom devoured her onion rings, and we left v happy campers ready to make the rest of the drive back up to Dallas.

Seriously a hidden gem. The pulled pork was 4/5 flavor wise, but plenty of meat. Everything else was an easy 5/5, seems like everything is homemade too. The salted caramel shake was fantastic. I was very fortunate to be passing through here and hungry. Plus the prices were outrageously good.

Was driving though town and decided to give them a try. The burger was EXCELLENT. I’m the driver thru, a kid asked me if I wanted regular ketchup or homemade ketchup for my fries. I tried the homemade and was blown away. Must try the homemade ketchup!

The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. Some of the best street tacos I’ve had. The chips and salsa were pretty good, too.

I don’t know what they put in the papacito burger but it was straight fire! Soooo goooood!! The egg, avocado & red sauce was a hit combination! Would 1000% recommend!
