Ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. Sandwich was delicious. Messy. Big. Everything you want in a buffalo chicken sandwich. Service… not bad just not attentive. Our server was the person who seated us, was the bartender, ran the food, bussed tables… all of these extras took attention away from his customers. Atmosphere… I think the place is having an identity crisis. Hip hop music was played at the same time piano classical music, at the same time college football was on with the volume up. Flashing lights at the bar to look like a dance club… just too much. But… the food was delicious – good job.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Don Lucho Ecuadorian Restaurant in Port Chester, and I must say, it felt just like home! As an Ecuadorian, I was thrilled to find such authentic cuisine that truly captures the flavors of my homeland. Every dish was delicious and brought back wonderful memories.

The service was excellent—everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. I also appreciated that the music was at a perfect volume, allowing for great conversation without having to shout over the noise.

I can’t wait to bring the rest of my family to experience this gem of a restaurant. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy genuine Ecuadorian food!

Wonderful family owned restaurant. Fantastic Ecuadorian food available in the menu. Pleasant ambiance and good feeling on the decor and the placement of items. Good service and very friendly staff. This little place has a lot of potential, and will not disappoint anyone looking for a good Latin American dish. Great for enjoyment with family and friends. I had the seafood Paella, and it was absolutely delicious. My wife tried the Lomo Saltado (traditional Peruvian dish) and it was absolutely delicious as well. Please note: Desserts are made in house, and they absolutely amazing. I highly recommend their homemade cheesecakes. All in all, this place gets a 5 star review: Great family owned and operated restaurant, with good attention to food and costumers. Looking forward coming back.

My husband and I had a quick dinner (Carne Asada) and drink (Margarita) before a show at the Capital on Saturday night and loved the service and delicious food. This small eatery is one that we will definitely come back to!

I’ve heard great things about this place, which prompted me to finally give it a try last night. The service was spectacular, portions were incredible for the price, and my encebollado (fish soup) with cassava was amazing. I had so many questions and my server was sweet and responded to them all. She explained the details around each dish and was overall attentive and personable. This establishment makes you feel at home when you walk in. Expect to be treated like family and trust you are in good hands!

Very disappointed with the lack of professionalism this morning. We were served by two waitresses, and the experience was frustrating: I asked for no avocado due to my allergy, yet my dish came with plenty of it. We also got the wrong drinks and food—my vegetarian friend asked for a cheese bolón and was served one with meat. At that point, we just decided to leave. Proper staff training is urgently needed.

Fantastic food. Absolutely fantastic. Went before a show at the Capitol Theater and was only a few minute walk from the venue. Erika was so sweet and welcoming. I honestly felt like I was eating a home cooked meal.
