I’ve been eating at this place for 17 years now I watched it grow over the years. And I watched there children grow up in the family business. They have 3 different location each one different.
Location #1 Riverview-Its a fast rapidly growing area so they get you in and out. You can eat there but most of it is take out.
Location#2 Ruskin-You can eat in air conditioned building they have different food options and beverage options I believe they serve beer at this location.
Location #3 Wimauma- This one is my favorite location personally, because they make the flower and corn tortillas fresh. I watched them upgrade the menu and earing area at this location.

This is a great place to go for tacos. We ordered a variety including al pastor, polo, tripa, and barbacoa. We also ordered fresh guacamole and chips. Everything tasted great and the people were very nice. They take cash or card and you can order ahead.

Don Julio’s is honestly one of the best places to eat when it comes to TRUE AUTHENTIC Mexican food.
Their food portions, meal sizes, dish flavors, and most importantly dish prices $$. Make it the go to spot for when my colleagues and I are within the area.
Their green and red salsas however, are the #1 reason why Don Julio’s has us returning for more every-time.
Most salsas for other establishment are either too watery and no flavor. Or they’re just too spicy, you can’t even enjoy and second bite.
This Location of Don Julio’s in Wimauma is a nice establishment w/ excellent outdoor seating, outdoor fans, and a clean dining location.
I usually travel to the Don Julio’s location in Riverview. However this 2nd location is well worth making the trip all the way down here to Wimauma.

Enjoyed a huge steak burrito on my first visit to Don Julio’s. It was HUGE, tasty and very fresh. The lettuce, tomatoes and onions were crisp even after being wrapped in a hot burrito. The building is not impressive from curbside. But while at the window I checked out the inside and it’s very clean. The ladies working there were constantly cleaning as they worked to prepare food. I was impressed. Will definitely go back!

This place has come through for me so many times, whether it’s game day or just a quick meal on the go. The flavors of the different taco meats are incredible and worth sampling every visit. Super authentic, and it always leaves you wanting more. Pro tip: call ahead to see if they’ve got the beef soup (Caldo de Res)—it’s perfect for curing a hangover!
