My family and I go to Don Julio’s once in a while, especially for birthdays. It’s a fun place to celebrate with a lively atmosphere and music, and it feels very family oriented.
The staff always does a great job and is quick with refills, especially for drinks and the chips and salsa. The food is always delicious, and it’s a place we enjoy coming back to for special occasions and family dinners.

We have been eating here for years, one of my favorite places! Not today!! We ordered tacos and guacamole. As you can see the small salsa and the Humongous Guacamole that we received. The Guacamole was $28. I almost had a heart attack, expecting to pay our normal $8. We tried to talk to the cashier about it, but we do not speak Spanish and he just stared at us. As you can see, the tacos are dripping in grease. Disgusting!! Super disappointing!!

We are playing a hockey game in Forest Lake so I decide to stop by and try this establishment with about 12 of our friends. I ordered food. They all ordered their food everybody’s food except for ours. I ordered a mohacate. The lady did not speak English after I asked where my food was. Talk to the woman in charge. Wanted to find out the waitress side. We just left! Mind you it’s a $30 dish. Not happy. Drive by to Catrina’s in Oakdale,Mn. I can’t rate the food cause I never received any.

The food is good, service is NOT good. You can visibly see they’re not happy when order food to share. We were still eating when they brought us the check. We were still eating when they brought us boxes we didn’t ask for. Then he brought us the credit card machine to pay for our food before we even had our money out to pay.
Everytime I’ve been here, I literally wonder if they secretly dislike their customers.
Oh and they charge you a fee to pay with a card, but they don’t tell you that. You need to look at your receipt to find that out.

The food was absolutely amazing!!! I left my wallet at the restaurant by accident. They were right there in the morning to give it back to me and even remembered my face. Everything was intact. This place is a solid restaurant in a wonderful business! Highly recommend!!!

That is very important, so you can be sure that you are always going to be pleased with a delicious Mexican food in any of the Don Julio restaurants.
