Well I must say this place put a real.smile.on my face. Jessi was my waitress and from the beginning she was nice and she helped me get through the menu with the decision I wanted to make. I ordered one of the large spicy mango margaritas and when I tell you it was fantastic IT WAS FANTASTIC!. The mango flavor was fresh the spicy hit you but was just right. It paired well with my birria tacos. The meat was tender and all the cilantro and onions were fresh. One thing I can say is there could have been a little more onions and cilantro to give it that extra crunch and layer. Make sure you ask for the spicy salsa. It was to die for. What an amazing experience and I will come back soon to see Jessi. She was fantastic.

I have a hard time with restaurants especially Mexican restaurant that don’t think they need a dedicated frier so the large population that has food allergy can have more options to eat like chips and salsa. Chicken tacos, chicken tequila etc.
The chicken tamales were delicious but I had to modify the sauce on top to make it gluten free.
If the owner would invest in a dedicated frier it would pay for it self and more. I will personally come back to do a new review to let the community know this businesses are safe to eat at for celiac.
The food was good but limited options. The staff were funominal and curitious but until the owner makes one change i won’t be coming back unless I am craving tamales.

Juliana was an amazing server! She was incredibly attentive and friendly, and she made our family feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. My two kids, Carlos and Karla, were very happy and comfortable thanks to her kindness, and my husband Luis and I really appreciated her great attitude and professionalism.
The Don Cadillacs margaritas were excellent, and the flautas were absolutely delicious. Juliana made our dining experience even better, and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

The portions were very small and they gave us just one tiny bag of chips for three meals. My quesadillas didn’t even have cheese. Why no cheese? That’s kind of the main ingredient! The chimichanga was supposed to be shredded chicken, but instead it had a strange and unpleasant mix of beef and chicken.
We spent $57 for a meal that no one really enjoyed. My husband was especially upset that I barely ate after paying that much. I did call the restaurant afterward to voice my concerns, and the manager was apologetic, which I appreciated.
I really wanted to like this place, but sadly, it just didn’t live up to expectations.

Absolutely loved this Mexican restaurant in Lake Mary! The food was delicious, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The drinks were just as amazing—perfectly crafted and refreshing.
On top of that, the service was outstanding. Our server Lili was such a doll—friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome the entire time. She truly made the experience even better.

My husband and I were in the Lake Mary area visiting friends and were looking for places to have dinner. I love Mexican food and when we found Don Julio’s, I was sold. Not only did the pictures of food look incredible, but they had a 4.8 star rating with over 13,000 reviews! And they earned every single bit of those stars.
The moment we walked in, we were greeted and seated. Our waiter, Hector, came over with chips and salsa and took our drink and appetizer order. We looked over the menu and ordered a few different things when Hector came back with the drinks.
It was a great atmosphere, amazing customer service, and phenomenal food. Our server was quick, kind, and polite. I asked Hector for his favorites to try next time we come in and he had three options that sounded to die for. I hope we get him next time we come in!
I highly recommend this place whether you’re a local or just passing through.
