Don Julio’s has Good food, and it is usually served pretty quick.
This restaurant is not generally my first choice in places to eat, but I don’t have any reasons I avoid it other than I favor a different Mexican restaurant in town. I don’t find the seating at this establishment very comfortable. They have the cheap metal chairs with a cushion that you would find at a massive church gathering. You know, the kind that makes your rear end fall asleep after about 20 minutes.. which happens to be about the same time your food comes to the table.
The menu at Don Julio’s is fairly priced, meaning it’s not too expensive for what you get.
The staff has been extremely polite every time I have gone they check you enough to make sure you don’t need anything, but not to the point it’s bothersome.
The positives about Don Julio’s are that I have never had a bad food experience here. The food is flavorful enough and is always cooked right. I have never seen more than 3-4 tables full of people any of the times I have gone here which means I have never had to wait any lengthy times to be seated.

Italian and Mexican cuisine at their finest! Service was fast. The place is clean. The staff were polite and attentive. I had the lasagna, and Lani had the chili relleno. Exceptionally good!!! We will be back and try the other dishes on the menu.

As a Southern California resident, I was very skeptical of the quality of food in par with SoCal when we drove in for a quick stop to eat. But the Super Burrito was amazing. Friends enjoyed their plates as well. Overall the prices were fair and reasonable. Bathrooms were a bit dirty and unorganized, however.

Extra nice if your party can’t decide on Mexican or Italian food – I loved the “Stella Alla Aragosta” (Lobster Ravioli), and their daily specials are super-tasty as well. They accept group reservations, serve beer, wine & “Coca-Cola” products. Street parking in front, with additional parking (and rear entrance) accessible through the alley. Having eaten here >10-times in the last 6 months, I’ve never been disappointed, and doubt that will change.

We dined in yesterday (3/30/2023) and my husband ordered their special which was the shrimp ravioli, right after we went home he started not feeling good, bubble guts and flatulence all through out the night and Alas! At 4 am he started vomitting and diarrhea. Still not feeling good as of the moment. we ate the same thing all day except the shrimp ravioli in white sauce because i sm lactose intolerant. I dont know what else to say this experience left us a bad taste. We were the only one eating when we went there so ofcourse the service was good and fast.

Food was very good, service was excellent, prices were fair and we WILL go back. It was our first time therr so we want to go back and try some different dishes. Don Julio came out and chatted with us and was very interested in how we liked his food. Very nice gentleman.

I wasn’t impressed at all. I wasn’t expecting really good Mexican food but come on… Maybe the Italian is better but we, 3 of us, all ordered different Mexican dishes and we were not happy. Mine actually tasted bad, I am generally happy with most things I eat, authentic or otherwise, as long as they just taste good. I wouldn’t ever recommend.
