This restaurant has always been my favorite Mexican place for the past few years. Delicious food. As seniors we appreciate their reasonable prices and look forward to eating there once a month on our fixed income. Last night, I was extremely disappointed. We ordered the same menu items we always order and enjoyed the chips and salsa with bean dip. We asked for another bean dip as we always do as I personally think this is the best dip in town. When we got our bill we were shocked to see that $5.50 upcharge was added for the additional little bean bowl. When we questioned it, we were told this was a new policy. When I told them we were never warned by the waitress and would not order it again in the future, we were flat out told “no” to a refund. How silly, $5.50 is half a burrito plate.! How ridiculous to treat your regular customers that way.!! Unfortunately, this has left a sour place in my heart and I don’t want to go back to a place that is that money hungry to let repeat customers leave upset with the situation and their dinner ruined.

I have a coworker that told me about this place and I have been looking for a new regular spot for Mexican food since I moved to this area a little over a year ago. Her glowing recommendation was not wrong. The food is amazing and consistently delicious. The staff is very friendly and serve everyone like family. The atmosphere is great with the art on the walls and a great patio. I barely remember to take a picture of the food because I’m just ready to dig in every time I come in.

SO DELICIOUS!!!!! All of the food had so much flavor! You could taste each ingredient, and they were all so good matried together. The best Spanish rice I have ever had!! Most Mexican places just have so much heat that you cant taste your food, not here. The mojitos are so good too! We tried the strawberry and raspberry ones. Can’t wait to try others. The service was amazing! Overall great experience! Can’t wait to come back again!

The food and people here are 100% amazing. I’ve been coming for years and every time I decide to try something new I love it! The Posole is my #1 favorite when its cold. The service here is ALWAYS great. I highly recommend Don Juans to everyone!

From the loud music to the bright lights and neon colors, the atmosphere is overwhelming—but all of that could be overlooked if the food were even decent. It isn’t. The food is not Mexican, the green chile is bad, and nothing tastes fresh. The margaritas come from a soda gun, which absolutely lowers the quality and should be reflected in their pricing. On top of that, some of the servers are rude and act as if they’re doing you a favor. With so many great restaurants around, there’s no reason to choose this one.

Our favorite neighborhood Mexican restaurant closed and so we began the hunt for a new favorite. Our choice was made at random and we settled on Don Juan’s. From the moment we walked in it had a very homey feel, very comfortable. Then we met the staff…these people have the best customer service! They answered all questions never made us feel rushed and their recommendations were spot on. Now to the food…holy crap everything was delicious and literally we ordered and it couldn’t have been more than 5 or 10 minutes and we had piping hot delicious food. Jimmy John’s could learn what freaky fast is from this restaurant!! Overall it was the diamond in the rough that we were looking for and we found it! Will definitely go back! Thanks for a great meal!

Stopped by on a whim heading back into Denver. SERVICE WAS AMAZING! Food was so good I forgot to get a pic. Bean dip, salsa and chips were delicious. Chicken enchilada and shredded beef chimi hit the spot. GREAT value.

Beef Fajitas where thin sliced more than I like but tender. Beef was seasoned perfectly. Enchilada Plate was good. Lot of people here for lunch. Thus, is popular around noon. Definitely a place worth coming back to.
