Don Juan’s is easily one of our favorite local spots. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with a true family atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff consistently goes above and beyond — attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making every visit a great experience. The menu offers plenty of variety, so there’s something for everyone, whether you’re sticking with a favorite or trying something new. Great food, great people, and consistently outstanding service. Highly recommend.

Everything is great. The food is a little on the mild side for me. This Gringo likes spicy. But I ask for the spicy salsa to put on it which is really good and has good flavor. The margs are definitely strong and don’t taste just like marg mix which alot of places do. The Staff is really the star of the show. They always do such a great job and accommodate any need you have. This is always where we stop when over on that side of town

Extremely loud at dinnertime, you’d have to yell to hear the person next to you. Took 80 minutes from arrival to leaving, with lots of downtime spent waiting.

This was a highly rated Mexican restaurant! The staff are amazing and extremely attentive. The food was good and they provide large portions. I got the fajitas and I felt the meat pieces were too big and a bit gristly but they were tasty.. The salsa is the best I have ever had in Colorado! Definitely recommend!!!

This place is a real gem! The food is consistently delicious and the service is the absolute best! I’ve been coming here for years and I’m always treated like family every time I go. The owner is also known to be very kindhearted, humble and extremely generous in the community, helping with cancer fundraisers and other needs. I cannot recommend this place enough! Enjoy the most delicious Mexican food and in turn support generous, hardworking, kind, local people at the same time. Now that’s a meal you can really feel good about!

We just left Don Juan, and our experience was incredibly disappointing and concerning. Our server was carrying two large bowls of menudo and accidentally dropped them. The extremely hot soup splattered onto my brother’s clothes and shoes, and it nearly hit my 9 month old nephew, my dad had to quickly pull him and his high chair out of the way to keep him from getting burned.
What made this situation worse is that the server never stopped to check if anyone was okay, despite how serious it could have been. No manager or staff member came over to apologize, assess the situation, or make sure we were unharmed. The lack of care and urgency was unacceptable.
If we were a white family, I honestly believe the response would have been different. This experience left us feeling disrespected and unsafe. I hope the management takes this as a serious reminder to train their staff on safety and how to handle incidents like this properly, with compassion and accountability.

The owner of Don Juan had an extensive in-person conversation with my parents and sincerely apologized for how the situation was handled while he was not present. He expressed genuine concern and took accountability, making efforts to make things right. We truly appreciate his professionalism, understanding, and willingness to resolve the matter. Thank you for addressing our concerns and restoring our confidence in your restaurant.

It is a nice clean restaurant. The food is homemade and comes out hot and fresh. The food tastes great! They make their own tortilla chips and hard shell taco shells. This is a great option for people who prefer more mild Mexican food. The waitress was attentive and helpful. They also make fresh pork tamales too.
