First time here and we are in love. Depression has literally had me in a food slump for months, where everything I eat just tastes okay, this was so good!! We haven’t had Puerto Rican food in a long time. We will make the trip out here JUST for this place. We got chicken and cheese empanadas with rice and beans and I was on a euphoric food high lmao.

The atmosphere was warm and humid, and the smell was nothing compared to the outside smell. Felt good to eat my meal at home. I ordered a large stewed cubed beef over white rice n beans. The mango is fresh . Ordered a side of plantain yummy. All I had was one over cooked plantain, which my bf ate with salt. No waste, and the portion will last me 2 days.

I come for the beef and cheese empanadas! They are so good and the portion is large. The mango and passion fruit juices are always fresh! highly recommend. Parking in the front of the restaurant can be a hassle when it’s busy. Park at the dollar store and walk over.

Called ahead the girl was rude to the point she ask someone else to take my order. I thought nothing of it until I got there and my order wasn’t done. Ok whatever! Fast forward got home and the rice was extremely raw! It was soo hard!!!!! The roast chicken had no type of flavor and the sweet plantains were hard! NEVER AGAIN! By the way I put one star cause you have to put something! Two down! The worst $45. Spend in my life!!!

First visit to Don Juan in the valley. Delicious pork stew, melt in the mouth tender. Cuban rice and beans, pinto beans were tasty. I couldn’t finish a small box! Everything was served hot and fresh. The lady at the counter was very polite. Look forward to another visit.

I ordered via delivery fried chicken and fried pork dishes. Both meats were very overcooked it was inedible. I received this through Uber eats. I complained through Uber eats awaiting a response. I was so disappointed . The meats tasted dry and burnt. Would not recommend this place
