This was our first time eating at Don Jose’s Grill. It was a great experience. We were greeted at the door and seated immediately. Chips and salsa followed close behind. Salsa and queso was a good combination to our chips. Our server, Carlos, was knowledgeable about menu choices and was attentive to the table. Patrons were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Our drink order was taken and they came out a few minutes later. Mango daiquiri was potent, but good. Dos Equis Amber beer was a welcomed change from Michelob Ultra. Our dinner order was taken soon after. Street Corn as an appetizer. Our entrees was very good and filling. We will be returning soon for another dinner date.

We go here often and it never really disappoints. One of my favorite dishes is the seafood fajitas which is pictured. There’s plenty of seafood in the dish and it’s delicious. You cold easily share it with another person. Margaritas are also good here, especially the top shelf margaritas.

I had the Spicy Mango Salmon. Food was delicious. I usually have doubts when ordering anything with mango because the mango is usually not ripe. That was not the case here. Mango was ripe and delicious. The dressing was the right amount of spice and heat. The salmon was nice, flakey and flavorful. I ended up drizzling some dressing on it and eating it with the salad. It was the perfect compliment.
Service was a little slow but we were patient with nothing to be rushing for. We found ourselves waiting for our ticket after eating for awhile. Could use improvement but that definitely won’t stop me from going back again.

There are three hotels nearby. I didn’t know there was such an excellent Mexican restaurant hidden in the alley. It is still crowded on weekday nights on Wednesdays. Some locals even bring their children to dine here. You can see their faces from the cocktails. I have enough strength, and the lightest dish I ordered was very good, not greasy or greasy, and I didn’t feel burdened after eating it. This is amazing.

Ate really early dinner..4pm so no wait or crowds. Service was perfect (Kaylynn B) Margaritas are amazing (hubby…I had wine) lots and lots and lots of food. I had the house dinner (pictured) taco was delish…chalupa should of been on the cold plate and not the hot plate (mush) I couldn’t eat the rest of the plate …portions are that big….2 entrees, 1 appetizer (all came out same time) and 4 adult beverages (top shelf) and it was kind pricey ($120 without tip) I will have to try another dish before I make up my mind….hubby LOVED his meal of For 1 Parrillada and his Chorizo Fondeaux. We will be back! Restaurant and bathroom very very clean btw.

Over priced! They charge me $15 for two tacos.
Mind you I added the pico de gallo and they charged me $1.99 for a small cup of that. I put it on the Taco but the Taco only came with meat also I added cilantro. It came with nothing but meat for $15.
Do not waste your money at this place and it’s not even good.

I was surprised to find a great place for tacos in Morgan City, LA. The taco Tuesday menu is solid. Had the birria, carnitas, and al pastor tacos. I enjoyed them immensely. Went back and tried a honey Chipotle chicken bowl and that was very good too.

We had a large group – 13 people. We were seated quickly & got drinks. Then it took a LONG time for the waiter to come back and take our orders. We actually had to ask for him. Food came out pretty quickly, but we had ask for drink refills. We also asked for divided checks and that took a while too, but that’s understandable.
