Their white cheese sauce is everything, I don’t know what they put in it, but it’s seriously addictive. I dream about it. Yes, the rest of the menu is delicious, fresh, and hot…. but that queso dip!!!

My husband and I loved Don Jose! We ordered take out from this restaurant. The portion sizes were amazing and the prices were extremely reasonable. Once we arrived to pick up our order, we were immediately greeted with very kind staff and our order was ready promptly.

We stopped at Don Jose during our road trip, drawn in by positive reviews and a tempting 50% off the second dish with an online coupon. We opted for the Cazuelon Especial – a mix of grilled chicken, steak, and shrimp with sides. The flavors were bold but a bit too salty for my taste, though my wife enjoyed it. Portions were generous. I could finished my dish and opted to take it home (and didn’t end up eating it at home)
Complimentary salad and tortilla chips with salsa were a nice touch. However, when the bill arrived, I requested the online discount. They insisted on a drink order for eligibility, but upon agreeing, they offered a 10% discount instead, claiming it was equivalent. While I’m not one to argue, it left me slightly disappointed.
Overall, a mixed experience with flavorful dishes but some hiccups in the discount process.

Me and my wife went here because the ratings were high, and it was as good as the ratings said. My wife got the Don Jose Stake and I got the Fish Tocos. It was excellent. The sauce for the tocos is slightly spicy, be warned. If you want some Mexican food, this place is a great place. Also, the alcohol was good.

Was visiting for a girls weekend and we came across this place looking for good tacos and Mexican food. While the portion sizes were outstanding, the food was extremely bland.
Everything lacked seasoning and spice; the chicken in my chicken enchilada was white with no seasoning, not even pepper!
If you like Mexican food for the American palette, this place is for you. If you’re looking for spicy, authentic food, go somewhere else.

I had not eaten here in quite a while since I had moved out of town. The food was very good. I had the Pollo Loco, one of my favorite dishes, and it was very good. The service was excellent. Looking forward to returning.
