Me and the wife have been to this location twice, we were disappointed with the food on the first go around and thought it might’ve just been an off day, but when we returned the second time, between the service and not getting the food right it was just complete disappointment both times
After sending the food back twice to get it corrected because of my food allergy that I let them know about right up front, They were still unable to get the meal right, so i gave up. The price for the serving size is way off. Small town disappointment. Hard to believe some of the 5-star reviews when the ownership gives away free deserts for positive reviews despite what’s really happening there…. Dine at your own risk…..

We experienced the soft opening and we were not disappointed. The food was fresh and delicious. The chips, queso and oh my the salsa was delicious and so flavorful. Beef fajitas were on point. We can’t wait to go back!! You won’t be disappointed.

We had service with a smile….. it was amazing. The food had so much flavor and everyone was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be a regular. Chicken fajitas were the best I’ve had .

What a fun and exciting place in such an equally exciting town!! The food is amazing, and the Skillet Queso was phenomenal.
I had the frozen classic margarita and enjoyed every sip!

We had a wonderful experience! We had loaded queso fries and enchiladas. The food was great. Logan was our bartender. He was engaging & knowledgeable. We met the manager, Danny. He was charismatic, fun and gave us samples of their award winning made from scratch margaritas that we will definitely be returning for on our next Sunday brunch!

My experience at Dons was quite disappointing. From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere felt lackluster, and I hoped the food would make up for it. Unfortunately, the service was notably slow and it took an eternity for our orders to arrive.
When the dishes finally made their way to the table, I couldn’t help but feel underwhelmed. The flavors were surprisingly bland, lacking the bold and authentic taste I had anticipated from a restaurant. The salsa lacked spice, the guacamole was strangely flavorless, and even the main courses failed to impress.
It’s disheartening to write a negative review, but the overall experience at Dons left much to be desired. The restaurant fell short on delivering the vibrant, flavorful cuisine I was hoping for, making it difficult to recommend to others seeking an enjoyable dining experience.

Fajitas were amazing! Love the fried prickles they were panko battered.
Cook came out even to check on us a see if anything could be better.
Got charged for over $12 for shots of Jose Cuervo. Told top shelf price. A bottle is like $23. Great experience until I felt my generosity had been taken advantage of.

Without a doubt, the fajitas were the best I’ve ever had. I also recommend Don’s Nachos – crispy lightly flavored chips topped with well seasoned ground beef and their amazing white queso! The wait staff is cheerful and eager to please. I love the small town ambiance! I’m counting the days until we go back!

The chicken fajitas were made with fresh ingredients. I could easily cut the chicken with my fork. The loaded nachos were so filling I had to stop eating them before I ruined my entree. Wait staff was very attentive. I am planning my next visit to try the wagu beef!

I wish I could say something nicer or even that I would go again, but sadly I didn’t even finish my first meal there, I definitely wouldn’t pay for another. Ok, first the good. Our service was good, our server Reagan was polite and stayed on top of things. The free tortilla chips were decent. The restaurant was clean and tidy but for large groups it’s not ideal. We have a family of 6, my husband, myself and our 4 kids. We had to split into 2 different booths. Now for the rest :/ I have never been to a Mexican restaurant that could rival a hospital cafeteria 🙁 the food was super bland. I had an “enchilada” with rice and beans. The rice was dry and so were the beans. The “enchilada” was some flavorless meat rolled into a soggy corn tortilla with some cheese sauce thrown on it. None of it had any flavor. Not even the cheese sauce, which kind of blows my mind. The salsa had heat but no flavor, again blows my mind. Not one of us finished our food and two in our group got sick after we left 🙁 best of luck to the owners. Maybe invest in a some new recipes or a new cook? Idk.
