I ordered the Chile Verde wet burrito with rice and beans on side delicious met Don Garcia very nice man, he took my order the other young ladies were very nice and respectful. Its worth trying it out, alone or take the family very nice atmosphere!!

The food was great, we did the buffet style, but also had a menu option. The servers were very nice. The manager was so nice and sweet. My daughter wanted to buy one of their Coca Cola kids cups since we’re a Coca Cola collector. After the manager came out he decided to give my daughter the cup for free. He shared with us a story about why he got the cups and some history. We will be returning back soon ☺️ my daughter also rates this place high on her list, love the food even tho she’s a picky eater.

Honestly when I first arrived, I was a little skeptical because of the appearance on the outside, however I was very surprised how it looked on the inside it was super clean and very elegant, I really love the nice decorations it gave such a welcoming experience and all the employees I met were nice and helpful. The bathrooms were amazingly clean, and the food was so good! I really really enjoy it! I will definitely tell more people about this place. Keep up the great work! Thank you guys.

Don Garcoa’s was a let down. Went in on a Sunday morning craving some soup. My sister ordered a fish soup and I asked for a Menudo. Food arrived after thirty minutes after I asked if it would be much longer because we needed to go. My sis tried to drink her soup but it was not doable the fish apparently was not completly defrosted and the soup had no taste. I was asked to taste it and decline. Took het to ord ror it. She was hungry but not happy. 🙂 my soup was edible, but only after I put in all the lemon, and stuff that was brought to the table.
Maybe this was not what should be ordered here? I dont know.
There were other people there whose food took about as long, but they seem to enjoy their food. And some regulars walked in while we were still seated there. (they liked the place). They might have much lower standards.
This was not for us. Food was slow, tasteless and the fish soup took too long to unfreeze. And they were stingy with the salsa and chips.
Skip this place and go elsewhere.

Good portions with fair market pricing for Mexican cuisine. Don Garcia offers a buffet on Sunday from 9 am – 2pm. The cost is $19.99 currently. The buffet has multiple entrées, including enchiladas, menudo, Pozole, Chorizo, chicken, ribs, and more. The buffet includes 2 mimosa or champagne.

First time here with my husband and we had a superb greeting, and the food came in a timely manner, they were very attentive to us. Very VERY polite. The food I felt was very well prepared and worth the money. Seems like a lot of people come here too. My seafood was impeccable in flavor and very good looking lol. The strawberry blended margarita was on point too.

Serendipity!
On our way to San Diego (from Vegas) and we think to stop for dinner since it would be pretty late if we wait until the end of our drive… so we google restaurants along our route… filter for “Mexican cuisine” and there are SO MANY. But scroll down a few and we saw Don Garcia’s… we recently relocated from Washington and our very most favorite spot there (in Lacey Wa) was a Don Garcia’s!
So we decide that picking a restaurant is a gamble when traveling anyway, and we settle on this Don Garcia’s for the name alone and hope it will be delicious… after all (lol) you can NEVER go wrong with chancing on a Mexican restaurant
We enter a delightful establishment and whose face do we see on the menu??? The VERY SAME DON GARCIA!!!
We both went for the Burrito Veggie (keeping it light tonight) with a side of Pico de Gallo (and guacamole) coke in a bottle and a flan to share… mmm…
The flan here is #1! The burritos scrumptious!
I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND. And it’s convenient from I-15!
Thank you to our server, and all the other associates here, for this happy bit of chance!

Al pastor & chicken tacos were excellent. Heath grade is an A. Good service too. Authentic ranchero music too.

Got the shrimp cocktail. For $18-19 you’d expect tasty, fresh shrimp. Wasn’t the case here. I’d suggest skipping that option and eating something else. I did however have the shredded beef taco and it was absolutely delicious. It is “tex mex” style, not authentic. But the flavor was there and it was a surprisingly good taco. I wish I would have ordered more tacos instead of the cocktail. We will come back just for the tacos.

So called this place to come in because they actually have a pretty decent food. My mom loves their chili Colorado burrito. They said they closed at 9 we said okay we are on the way down to order food. They said no problem and we get their 20 minutes later and they said they are closing early. With the door still unlocked. Damn must be nice to not need business, saw three other cars pull in and pull off. My order alone was going to be around $60 bucks before tip and yes I love to tip huge for great service which is getting so hard to find today. And who knows what the other cars were going to spend, when it comes end of business quarter or year and wondering why there isn’t more money remember you like to close early. Prolly missed out on an easy $200 dollars which if business is ran right the profit on that could’ve saved the day if is was that slow to close early. Or at least lighten the sting when payroll comes around. It sucks because we just came back from camping and want the bomb burritos. The journey continues for someone to take my money, the My taco hacienda also closed early.
