This was our first time coming, and it didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious. I had chicken fajitas, and my company had shrimp tacos. Everyone enjoyed their meal and talked about what we’ll be ordering the next time we come back.
Our server, David, was helpful when it came to questions about the meal, and he provided great service, too.

The margs here are amazing. They taste fresh. No sour mix. They are also very strong. Two of them and you are good to go. The food is also great, and the patio in the summertime is wonderful.

Had two experiences with Don Gallo, both terrible. First my wife’s office came for a birthday party and they gave their table away. Second was today. Showed up for trivia next door and ordered our food an hour before. Spoiler alert, they gave our order away and we had to wait an extra 40 minutes for a replacement. No apologies, no offer to make it right, just a deal with it. Never again.

Best tacos I have ever tasted. They do not smother their tacos I. Toppings. They put the toppings and sauces off to the side for you to dress your own tacos. I had the fried shrimp tacos and my husband had the Baja tacos and they were both delicious.
The service was great. We had a very kind waiter.
There is a bar area to eat at as well.
Pricing was great. Good amount of food for the price.

Been here a few times, and tried these meals out the last two visits. The steak and eggs I hadn’t had before, but I loved em! Think I’ll get them again next time. Both meals were great though!

Our family has been twice now. Atmosphere is good service is good. But the food is where it’s hit and miss. Loved the ceviche app and my carnitas plate. Loved fished tacos. But the chicken enchiladas had extremely dry and flavorless chicken, similar to crockpot chicken or boiled chicken. The red sauce on the cheese enchilada was bland and almost sweet but not in a good way. The beans both times are like paste and need some salt and maybe onion and cumin and bacon grease or something to add flavor. The rice is kinda dry and also lacked flavor and salt. The presidents margaritas were meh, the mezcal margarita had an extreme smoke flavor after taste. Not likely to return unless it’s just for carnitas or ceviche.

Where to begin? We have been in the area for six years. This location is always packed with cars in the parking lot but we have not been. We decided to finally give this place a shot on a Tuesday night. When walking in the interior was not what we expected. This is not a bad thing. I feel it is very industrial not the interior of a typical Spanish restaurant. We had to be seated by a host, not uncommon. What I found uncommon, was you had to be seated by the host for the bar. We asked to sit outside as it was a nice evening. The outside area had a covering on half of the patio. I did notice a table with a stack of dirty plates when we sat down, more to come on this stack of dirty plates. The menu has a vast selection to choose from, see pic. The waiter came over and got our drink order, beer and a margarita. We also ordered queso and chips. The drinks and queso were a little slow to come out, notice I said queso. He said the chips were on the way, five minutes later. We then sat there for about twenty minutes waiting to place our order. The waiter did pass by multiple times as we were sitting by the door to go to and from the outside to inside. We place our order, steak chimichanga and quesadillas. After placing our order the waiter picked up the empty chip bowl and asked if we wanted more chips. We said no, so you would think that he would take the empty bowl away. Nope. He set it back on the table, where it sat until we left after our meal. Anyone see a trend? The food came out and was very good. The steak chimichanga had great flavors and steak was tender. The sides of refried beans and rice were good. Rice was not dry. Half way thru finishing our meal, the waiter asked if we wanted more drinks. We both said no and a few minutes later, I got another beer. I guess he didn’t hear me. As we sat there finishing our meal some other tables that had guests had left. Their tables never got cleared. As I looked around, I noticed a table that was not cleared and not had anyone at it the entire time we had been there. I also had sight of the bar the entire time we were eating. There were two different couples that had left the bar, their plates and drink glasses sat on top of the bar for 20 minutes. Finally the bartender cleared the plates but left empty drink glasses for the 15 more minutes we were there. I finally had to get the waiter to get our check as he had not stopped at our table. The food was very good but don’t think we will be back due to the lack of service and the inability to clear the tables. Really makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like. Oh and that stack of plates on the table when we were seated, they were still there when we left after an hour of being there, see pic.

I really disliked my food. Originally I asked for chili Colorado but received chicken verde (the chicken was at least better than the colorado). When I received the colorado it literally tasted like barbeque pork…. To me, it seemed like the proteins are cooked in one batch and divided to the respective dishes. Not to mention, it was not a good bbq pork either…. Sad

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY THROUGH THEIR WEBSITE. They use a 3rd party that first had 40 min then jumped to an hour and half and when I complained dropped to a little over an hour. Food was delivered cold and we had to reheat which makes not as good as fresh. When I told Chow Now not acceptable they said they do not have drivers but contact other deliver companies. Don Gallo really should look at doing business with Doordash or another true delivery company then this one. Very disappointing. With that said eating at the restaurant has always been a good experience but this delivery is very poor.
