Came here for brunch and had an amazing time! The area is super cute and the patio is nice. I got the hangover burger and it was delicious. The patty and bacon were seasoned really well and contrasted with the sweetness of the waffle really well. I will definitely come again.

We really enjoyed this restaurant for lunch today. We wanted to see the jazz and blues festival that was happening on the plaza and did a little search for reviews and once again my friends delivered. The pork Street tacos were absolutely fantastic and hubby had the flautas which was such a unique flavor and chock-full of chicken. We also really liked the street corn. The margaritas are made with some type of guava syrup and they were fantastic, don’t skip out on these.

What a great spot to enjoy the live jazz and blues music that was happening.

Service was fantastic and we would definitely return to this location if we were locals.

Total bill for each entrée +2 beers and two margaritas was $54 before tip.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. A live Duo was performing. Ordered the Jalapeno Popper Bites.  They were a different experience. Do recommend. A bit spicy tho.  I ordered the Flautas. They were good, the sides not so much. It came with a corn with chili powder on it. That was good. Also came with some rice, which was not so good. I would recommend the restaurant do away with that and instead serve black beans with mangos. They should also add a bit of Guacamole along with the cream they gave.

What I really did not like about this place were the plates the food came on. Looks nice for presentation but not to eat off of. Maybe keep it simple. Or maybe I’m too picky. Either way, I will come back to try something different.

Food was actually not bad. It would have been better if they had brought it out at the same time, instead of one plate every 5 minutes. By the time they had brought our my wife’s plate, I was done eating. Service was mediocre at best.

Loved the atmosphere and vibe of the patio cafe. Food was great, fresh, and unique! Staff was friendly! Brews were local with a good selection. Will definately be a relaxing hang out that I will be returning to!

Tried this place again over the weekend and their new and improved menu is actually better than it was before.

The albondigas were good, the tamales were great, and the choco flan is one of the better ones in the area.

If you haven’t been here in a while, stop by and give ’em another shot. Especially recommended on Sundays when the plaza has live music.

The chef service is really bad, I mean really awful, I am cheese allergic and I asked for no cheese enchiladas and the “chef” said NO just because it doesn’t look beautiful . I could have died from an allergy reaction, but the plate had to be “beautiful”. On the other hand, the waiter was so sweet and kind. ( we didn’t leave without paying, we paid what we got (drinks) there are cameras we all paid in the front desk.

We went on Friday afternoon for a very late lunch. We were the only patrons in the restaurant and two tables outside had guests. The ceviche tostadas were light and crispy. A delicious meal. My sister and mother ordered a patty melt with sweet potatoe fries. We all walked full and very pleased with our choices. The decor in the restaurant is nice and what you would hope to see when you visit a place surrounded by historic buildings.

Cafe Don Felix of De Mesilla is actually called Emelia’s and it returning to the original name Cafe Don Felix under new ownership.

Just off the Mesilla town center we decided to try this local cafe and enjoying dining outside in the courtyard on a lovely warm afternoon in February.

We were a bit disappointed in the food because it was not a flavorful or spicey as we normally like. I ordered the Cuban plate and did enjoy the plantaines and the sauce that came with it.

Excellent service with excellent food. There’s a beautiful outdoor seating section with live music (not sure how often the live music is but it was beautiful; I added a picture of the musicians card). We had Street Taco’s, Mini hamburgers, and Tamales; everything was excellent with zero issues.
