Just realized I forgot to review this place. After a hard day of work, neither of us felt like making or cleaning up supper, so we decided on a date-nite! After looking at a couple of places that we considered and saw all the reviews, we hit on this restaurant and were SO glad we did!
Chips and salsa were so packed with flavor. The food portions were delicious and huge! We took 1/2 of both dishes home and had a second meal.
Topped it off with a Sopaipilla dessert that was amazing!
We’ll definitely be going back and we pointed some friends going out for their 30th anniversary to have dinner here. They loved it!
The prices were very reasonable too!

Ate here for the first time today. The place was really busy. But we were seated immediately and our server greeted us right away. She was very friendly and efficient. Our order came out surprisingly quick! The food was tasty. The portion was huge! Plus we got complimentary chips and salsa.

Greeted the minute we walked in.. very nice atmosphere.. friendly staff.. above all that the food was AMAZING. # 10’s and #1 combination plates were delicious.. everything was PERFECT. Food—The Sheepherder and fajitas are the best Mexican I’ve had!!!!!
Service—genuinely friendly and like family. And the service is as fast as most fast food restaurants I go to.
Atmosphere—it is a large room for dining, but quiet enough to hear conversation at your own table without loud background music.

Great staff! Chelsea was awesome and made us great drinks. All the staff greeted us and talked to us. Very nice. Food was good and portions huge. Worth stopping in.

When in New Mexico, I love to get green chili stew and my wife LOVES sopapias. Both were EXCELLENT. My wife had a plate with a tamale, an enchilada, and a crispy taco. They all were fabulous!!! We would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some EXCELLENT New Mexico food.
