Just what Winter Park was craving, an incredible, authentic Mexican restaurant. The location is clean and you can tell it’s been updated recently. The family that owns it is incredibly hospitable and caring. I had to come to a screeching halt and take a picture of my plate before there wasn’t any to take a picture of!

This is a wonderful new Mexican restaurant in the Winter Park area. The food was great as were the house margaritas. Service was friendly and attentive. It was not very busy when we were there on a Sunday evening, but I suspect this will change when the word gets out.

Always willing to try a new spot but this was a great dissapointment. Chips….two small bowls free then you pay. Salsa…very average. My chicken was pounded thin which is okay unless it is cooked much that I could almost not cut through it. I always have a portion to take home when I eat at Mexican restuarants, but this went back to the restaurant kitchen and presumably into the trash. Margaritas were good and the ambiance nice; waiter did his best.

First visit here last night and had fajitas here last night and they were very good – tender and good flavor with warm tortillas. Kids had a kids taco plate and said it was good. Only wish they had lighter restaurant style chips instead of the thicker style many Mexican restaurants use, but hate to complain too much about free chips and salsa.

Brand new and now with a liquor license! The service is amazing, the food is delicious, between the carnitas, tacos, quesadillas and loaded nachos! Can’t get enough! Yes it’s pricey but many of the restaurants up here are that way. Compared to most places in the area, it’s one of the best in town, getting more food for your dollar and service that’s worth it. Highly recommend.

Don Danny’s is a newly opened restaurant in Winter Park, Colorado. The few reviews we read were positive so we thought we’d give it a try on Mother’s Day. Unfortunately, for us, the experience was a total bust. They don’t have their liquor license yet – it’s pending, there is no ambience but several TVs, the lights are really bright, the food is over priced for the poor quality – especially given the over size portions of lettuce, bland rice, and tasteless refried beans served with every plate. My husband ordered a shredded beef burrito that was served cold on the inside with no more than a quarter cup of shredded beef and packed with an additional over-abundance of bland rice and tasteless refried beans to add to the huge plate already over flowing with the same rice and beans. The restaurant’s saving grace is that it is very clean and our waitress was very sweet.
