Absolutely fabulous experience at Don Dany Mexican Grill & Bar! We ordered the Molcajete (the stone bowl dish) and it was incredible-loaded with shrimp, chicken, pork, steak, cactus, all the fun things. The presentation was great, but the flavor was even better. The service was excellent and very attentive (Marcus). Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area!

My husband and I decided to give this place a try last night. The outside patio eating was lovely. Surprising they blasted 70s dance music on the outdoor speakers which cracked me up. The patio had a big jenga and corn hole also. Seems like a good option for families. Inside the bar had two pool tables which seemed like a fun option too. I ordered the crispy chile rellenos and was surprised by the filling which was unlike any I have had. The chile was stuffed with a cream cheese and herb mix. Seemed similar to what you stuff bacon wrapped jalapeños with. Regardless, I enjoyed it. The green chile sauce that covered it was good also. My husband got the steak chimichanga which was huge – long and flatter than what we’ve had before also, but he loved it. We ordered the jalapeño margaritas which were good although could have used an additional shot of tequila (but that’s my usual opinion at most places). The margaritas were really expensive that surprised me. $15-20 each, so we limited to trying just one. The server was friendly and attentive. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I recommend it.

A very disappointing experience. Service was slow and inattentive. More importantly, I paid the bill with my charge card with a specified tip included. When I checked my credit card receipt online, the server had entered a higher tip for himself than what I had specified. I have never experienced such unethical behavior at a restaurant before.

Just what Winter Park was craving, an incredible, authentic Mexican restaurant. The location is clean and you can tell it’s been updated recently. The family that owns it is incredibly hospitable and caring. I had to come to a screeching halt and take a picture of my plate before there wasn’t any to take a picture of!

While the food was decent you get charged 20% Gratuity. We were just visiting im not sure if everyone gets charged the same. Food was just ok for the price. Felt a litle on the high end. 5 dollars per taco. 3 people eat 20. So kind of small. Nearly 30 in gratuity. So be prepared if you go. I feel it should be pointed out at the beginning.
