On our way to Chubbies we decided even though police activity was in the parking lot to give this place a chance. I’m happy to report it was amazing. Even though we did not know it closed earlier than expected we were treated great. The waitress was happy and went above and beyond to make us a sample plate from the salsa bar that was taken down due to time closing. All the food was amazing. The service was beyond great. We will be back. Thanks so much for treating us so great. Happy new year!!!!!

I finally found a Mexican Restaurant where the food tasted the same way they made it at home. It’s so flavorful and savory. Even my left overs at home were just as good! Everything was hot and fresh. Every bite an absolute Mexican delight! I will not go anywhere else when I want Mexican fair. I lived in So Cal and this is super close to the good mom and pops .or border Restaurants in TJ. I will tell everyone I know!

This place is amazing!! I’ve been customer since I moved to Utah (1,998) I got to meet Griselda, Don Jesus (RIP) they both went above and beyond to provide great customer’s service. I’ve got to meet Don Daniel & wife Estela great and humble people, food still tastes the same as day 1, and we got to celebrate 3 Quinceañeras at their place! I will definitely keep visiting this great place and highly recommend it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was delicious, the waitress was very nice, so far they have the best fajitas I’ve ever tasted! It’s definitely a hidden gem, but if you like mexican food definitely try this place! I can’t recommend it enough!

We love this place. Great atmosphere and food. Definitely not your typical Utah Mexican restaurant. Salsa bar is the best around.

The atmosphere here is great; complete with a shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe. I was really craving some chorizo and eggs, and while the dish scratched an itch, it was not what I expected. I wonder if there are regional differences in how it’s cooked. My family is from Chihuahua, and I’m used to the chorizo being fully crumbled and mixed in, so that the dish looks like red scrambled eggs. Here the chorizo is served as large chunks. Still tasty though.

Overview- great place to have dinners. You pay by going up to the counter.
Food-the food is good. It’s a mix of American Mexican and Mexican meals. You have to order the more authentic menu items, I ordered a breakfast burrito which was good but more American Mexican. It was a touch sweet, but tasted good. The chips and salsa were good. Good sized portions.
Staff-very friendly and nice.
Price- price is about what you would expect for Mexican food. Most items were $12+ and there were a handful of items that are $9. They had a lunch special that was 5 tacos for $9.99 with a drink.

Arguing with customers and then blatantly ignoring them is NOT the type of service you should be offering. Even trying to pay to leave was irritating as you can stand right in front of the register waiting as they are glued to their phones until you say excuse me for the billionth time. The seafood soup was extremely plain even with dumping all the spices and herbs provided on the table. Random loud music makes it impossible for conversation and that’s not mentioning the person circling the tables shoving their camera in your face.
