I ordered a sausage breakfast burrito. Waited roughly ten minutes for my food and took it to go. Salsa is good. Found a hair in my food two bites in. I was pretty disappointed since the first two bites were good. Not sure if I’ll come back

The ladies who work here are so nice! Had questions about the food and they let me sample before making my decision. Clean, bright festive atmosphere, has all the yummy salsa bar stuff you’d want, and large portions at reasonable price. Reccomend for solid Mexican food!

It’s hard not to give this place five stars.
The only thing I can say is that this place is very small compared to what I’m used to but that’s only because it’s close to 450 N.
The lady in the front register was very nice and helped me a lot. Maybe it’s because I speak really good Spanish but still.
They have a really clean, organized layout and the entire place seems very comfy. It’s a great place to take friends or go on a date.
I really liked their salsa bar. They were very generous with what salsa they offered, everything was easy to find and then even had sauteed onions and grilled chilis.
And the FOOOOOD! Is it the best Mexican food that I have ever tasted? No. But it was still REALLY good. They gave me a good size for what I ordered (my whole order was $17) and I can tell that they seasoned and cooked their meat very well. I would rate it 8/10 but only because I have tried 5-star, authentic Mexican food as a kid and I will never hold any other food from a Mexican restaurant higher than my childhood cuisine.
Overall, this place is great. I really wish they had more locations so I can go to a Don Chuy’s when I’m in Orem.

I LOVE don chuys!! I come here probably too often. I’m obsessed with the carne asada fries but their tacos and plates are amazing too. The inside of the restaurant is so cute and always so clean. The service is always so quick and fast. And their salsa bar always hits. I so recommend don chuys!!

I only get the Birria Tacos with egg, but it’s apparent this place is run by people who know how to cook. The tortillas are the right amount of crispy and the egg is never rubbery. The ingredients are simple but prepared very well. It’s also an excellent value. This is one of the two Mexican restaurants I’d call the best of Provo.

I recently had dinner here and ordered item #20 from the menu. Including the tip, I spent $22. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The beef on the plate was incredibly thin—thinner than bacon—and poorly cooked. Essentially, I paid $22 for five shrimp, some rice and beans, and three tiny, skinny strips of beef.

The food is so so good here and reasonably priced especially for the portion size you get. I have yet to visit inside the restaurant as I usually DoorDash but the quality and taste of food does not disappoint!

PROS: this place is similar to betos, but a bit cheaper and tastes different but equally good. The nacho fries (pictured below) were like $9 and it was a hefty meal. I’d say Don Chuy’s is a bit fresher than other “cheaper” Mexican restaurants. The chimichangas are also next level.
CONS: nothing really comes to mind. Most of the food here has been great.

If there’s a lady cooking(she looks new) your order might be ️ ’cause mine sure was ☹️ — negative 1⭐
** Old review**
The variety of items on their menu is almost unmatched locally. Prices are similar, if not less than any other Taco/Taqueria around — considering inflation. Food is good. Is it the best? No mames… this is Utah county, not the southern side of the border.
