Don Chuy in West Monroe is a solid spot for authentic Mexican food. I had the chicken fajitas, and they came out sizzling and packed with flavor.
The menu has a full array of options—whether you’re craving tacos, enchiladas, or something unique, they’ve got it all. Great service and a relaxed atmosphere make it an easy go-to when you’re in the area. Definitely worth a visit!

Visiting from TX – some of the best Tex Mex in the 318. Very nice menu selection. Everything my group got was very fresh. I ordered the happy plate trio and was just enough for my dinner and still had leftovers!

Beautiful fit and finish, wide walkways, and lots of glass in exterior walls and great ceiling height.
This allowed a lot of natural light in, allowing a unique positive experience compared to most d restaurants with almost no windows and dimly lit booths.
Service was great and responsive, and food portions were overwhelming. Needless to say, I required a to go box for all the food I couldn’t put down.
The place was decorated well, and the high prices were justified!
