This place was highly suggested to me by multiple locals, and it does not disappoint! I thoroughly enjoyed the birria tacos, the consomé was the best I’ve ever had, and if I am ever driving through New Mexico again, I will come here specifically for the birria tacos, hands down. We also had the green chili brisket nachos, and they were very good as well, but I think the tacos were just so amazing, I wish I just got more of the tacos. The melon drink, maybe like an aguas frescas, was light and refreshing, and the beans, rice, and guacamole were perfect. Ten out of ten!

Holy hell, these are some of the best tacos I’ve ever had! I gotta come back and try the other varieties! I had the 4 pack of tacos, 2 birria style and 2 brisket with green chile. I’ll be back next time I’m in town!!! It felt like two pounds of tacos in my belly when I finished!

One day a year or so ago, my husband and I randomly came here for a michelada. We definitely were not disappointed, so we went back a few weeks ago. The michelada is huge and very tasty. I like mine with a lot of Clamato, so they were nice enough to give me some extra juice without charging extra, which is always appreciated. They also gave us chips and salsa with our drinks, which was a nice bonus. We have not tried the food here yet, but we will definitely be going back to get another michelada and some food! Love drinking on their patio as well, very nice outdoor area. We also ended up not realizing when they closed and stayed a bit past while they were closing up and they were nice enough to let us finish our drinks and conversation without rushing us out. Definitely check this place out!

Best tacos I’ve ever had! Im celiac so finding safe gluten free foods at restaurants is very scary and I usually avoid it, but we are traveling through NM and really wanted some good real tacos. My boyfriend went in to order to go for us and explained to the woman helping him about my “allergy” and she was SO beyond helpful and attentive. He said he even heard her go to the kitchen and explain exactly how my food needed to be prepared . On top of that awesome customer service the tacos were SO SO good.. legitimately the best I’ve ever had! 1000/10.

The food is absolutely top-tier. The Birria Tacos are a must-order—perfectly crispy, flavorful, and generously portioned. But the real show-stopper for me was the Carne Asada Fries. If you’re even a little bit hungry, you HAVE to get them. They are loaded with high-quality ingredients and are a meal in themselves.
The atmosphere is wonderful, especially the outdoor patio. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a meal on a nice Albuquerque day. What really sealed the deal for me was seeing the owner actively working and checking in with guests. It’s so refreshing to see an owner who is hands-on and clearly passionate about their business.

Probably the best taco joint in Albuquerque. Good service. Great tacos and truly massive burritos. I’m not the biggest totes fan but the tortas here are legit. Staff were super nice. Free chips and salsa bar. Make sure to buy extra salsa cups when you order. Outside seating with heaters is doable even when it’s kinda chilly outside. The Strawberry margarita was average and I wouldn’t order again.

My main problem is the parking lot is not well lit. My elderly family member tripped on a parking block that had it’s rebar sticking up about a foot above the parking block. It seems that the staff takes all the close parking because there wasn’t really any customers there but the parking lot made it looked packed.
Food is good, prices are fair for some items but not for others. Servers have gotten more pleasant. Previous register workers I remembered being uninviting but now the staff seems more friendly.
Not really wanting to complain but I think these issues need to be addressed because I like this place but my family members don’t want to go back for the reasons above.
