Tried this place with coworkers (first time here for me). From the visual decor to the atmosphere, it felt like I stepped into Mexico . It felt great to me. We were 11 people in total, and our table was set up. We sat, got our drink orders taken, appetizers taken and promptly delivered. Main entrees were taken and also delivered promptly. Food and service were both on par, very good, excellent service. Definitely a place to come and try some authentic food!

No complaints what so ever ! Staff is friendly , the owners come by and make sure everything is fine . The flour tortillas are homemade! Bacon is crunchy – but not too much that it crumbles . Menudo is on point . Can’t go wrong with breakfast ,lunch or dinner !

Great food. Excellent service. Fast! Reasonable prices. LARGE PORTIONS. Friendly staff. This place is a locals favorite and was referred to me by people in the know. I’m really glad they did. Enjoyed dining here while passing through Houston. I will be back.

Everything was really good here ! The food and the service. They even give Chile con queso with the chips! No one does that anymore due to inflation but the tripas and faijitas were really good!! && The enchiladas. I would definitely be back!

We were alittle disappointed with breakfast… had a few misses with some of the food on flavor, eggs were way over cooked, gravy was close to paste consistency, potatoes undercooked and underseasoned. Biscuits were good and homemade, ra cgero sauce was good but brought to the table way before our food so it was ice cold by the time our food came. Based on the crows alone we thought for sure we’d really like it, so we will give it another shot but this time fir lunch. I hope we are not disappointed again. Definitely a hidden gem. The food was delicious and we took more than half of it to go because the portions are so big. Prices are cheap.
Warm chips, salsa and queso, surprised to see free queso.
I had beef enchiladas, so good. My husband had the “comal norteno” which includes beef fajitas, mollejas and tripitas, charro beans and rice. Everything was cooked perfectly.. We also had a beer each, and got out of there paying less than $45.
