I can only vouch for the birria and shrimp tacos so far, but both are incredible and they don’t skimp on the cheese! We arrived around 6p on a Saturday and there was only one other person, so our order for 4 was ready in less than 10 minutes.
Nice spacious parking lot including an area to sit down and eat. We’ll be returning for more in the near future, I’m especially curious about the horchata. It’s nice to have real Mexican street food in the area.

Don Cheque Taqueria, located in the parking lot off NW 119th Street in Vancouver, has become my go-to whenever I’m in the area. The food is always flavorful and satisfying.
Their breakfast burrito is a standout—honestly great any time of day. I had one for lunch recently, smothered in their hot salsa, and it really hit the spot.
If you’re in the mood for quality Mexican food from a local gem, Don Cheque is definitely worth a stop.

Good price, convenient location and I enjoy the outdoor seating area. It has a nice breeze. The food was on par with it’s competition in the area.

I was disappointed with my meal. I waited for chips and salsa to be served and nothing came. So I found it costs $3.99 for chips and salsa. The salsa was watery. I ordered one chicken and one cheese enchilada with green verde sauce. The cheese came with red sauce. I tried it and food the sauce to be watery with not much flavor. There was no melted cheese inside. There was a white crumbly cheese. I think this is usually a topping. It was awful. The chicken was ok but the verde sauce had very little flavor and was watery. The rice and black beans were fine. I have never written a critical review before. Perhaps the chef could adjust his recipes or find new ones with great flavor and texture. Good luck. I got the steak burrito special for about $14. It was not as big as other burritos I have had in recent weeks at nearby competitors. It also had a much higher ratio of rice to steak than I was expecting. It was okay, but I think I’m going to continue going to the competition. They are a better value.

Being from Texas it was a bit of a culture shock to not see breakfast tacos anywhere. I had a conversation with the folks at Don Cheque and they were able to whip some up. Hands down the best tacos I’ve had so far in Vancouver!

This is some really good food, great asada and chicken, love the street tacos, the nachos are good but the chips they use are on the denser side, enchiladas are good, chimichanga is very tasty, and they even have mulitas, which are delicious as well.

I live nearby it’s wild I took this long to try them because I love Mexican cuisine. What’s silly is i ordered a hamburger & fries (bc I was craving fries). I think my review is important as I am here to represent the taco trucks burger. Surely only for children but it was actually super good. They were fast; very personable, & I can’t wait to try their Mexican cuisine.
