I always enjoy eating at Don Carlos. The food is tasty and the service is great. The street tacos I ordered were exceptional! The presentation was incredible too. The chips are thin and crispy but strong enough to hold queso without breaking.

Decent flavor. Still haven’t found any Mexican restaurant that can compete with back home. It’s been very americanized as far as flavor and set up goes. It’s just taco meat in it. Like every other restaurant in this state. None of them offer the good steak burritos or steak chimichangas like back home. If you find one here that offers steak, it’s liberally a giant steak sliced up. Back home it was small skirt steaks chopped up into tiny bites…..not 6 slices of steak.

It was difficult to get the wait staff’s attention when you need something. Rarely checked on the table. Overall, it was a great meal. I’d recommend this place to my friends and I’d go back. 🙂
