Don Beto come back!!! This is the only good Mexican restaurant in Atwater. The food is so fresh. The service is amazing. As a Mexican I’m very picky about Mexican restaurants but this one is actually so good I prefer it over my own cooking. Truly the best restaurant in town.

Customer Service could be way better. The food I ordered the avocado was already turning brown, the lettuce is old almost like coleslaw. This was my first time having a bad experience with this place. The tortilla chips were stale. We paid almost $60 for food for it to turn out like this. Definitely lost a Customer.

The Camarones Rancheros are the best I’ve ever had! Super delicious. We love it every time we come here. The kids menu is good too. The staff are excellent. Clean and very comfortable! We come all the way from Chowchilla to eat here

The rice was metallic and old. My guacamole was almost brown and my lettuce was wilting, my tomatoes were hard and sour, meat had no flavor and the tortilla was so hard you couldn’t chew it.. my enchiladas meat was burnt and covered in red sauce.. I spent 50 dollars to eat a little and toss it in the trash. Thanks bland and burnt and overpriced..

if i could give a -5 stars i would, if u ever want to go to a restaurant and leave hungry and with less money in your pocket this is the right place for you, we ordered and what we got was a little swipe of bean, like a sticker of beans in the plate, 2 ounces of carnitas, a little lettuce and 2 pieces of tomatoe that resembled a green salad all for $16, when the pound in cardenas is just $9, i ordered chicharrones in green salsa what i got? 6 little pieces of chicharrones, very hard chicharrones, when u have to let’em boil a little in the salsa so they get smooth, for another $16 and a sticker of beans, 2 scarse filled platers for $48 and a day before we when to applebees and we drunk and eat for just $50, i feel sorry for the waitress about no tip but we were very furious because we were still hungry… i thought nothing could beat the bad service of don chente in huntington park, but oh man i was wrong! in short.. id recommend this awful place just to the people i dont like

I grew up in Atwater and was visiting my family and got to enjoy this place with them. I have really missed authentic Mexican food and this place really did not disappoint! Their homemade chips and salsa are some of the best I have ever had! My husband got their chimichanga with the sauce on the side. Their sauce was something special! I appreciate the family recipes this restaurant is offering!
I got their enchiladas—also excellent. Then we finished with dessert, highly recommend it! On top of it all, the owner was friendly and spoke with us. Service was superior to most places. I hope this place stays around for a long time! It is a must visit! I wish we had one of these where I live now!
