Jesse “Grandpa” Castilla came to Texas in 1927 from San Luis Potosi, Mexico with his families’ authentic Mexican recipes and began to hone his culinary skills. In the 1970’s, son-in-law, Bennie, carried on the tradition by opening his first Casa Olé. This began the long tradition of serving East Texans fresh, handmade, high-quality comida, giving families top notch service and good value, bringing them back for more than 45 years. Stopped in for lunch, fast chip/salsa and drink service. Food out quickly, hot, just enough spice. Definitely be back
My favorite is the the Benito Dinner plate. Cheese enchiladas, tamale, rice beans, tostado, cheese tostado. Guacamole Red Sauce White Queso.

Had lunch here today. Two of us ordered fajitas. A 50/50 beef/chicken, and a loco hombre, beef/shrimps.
Overall, it was rather bland for a mexican dish. Beans and rice as well, rather bland. Decor was good, seating in the booth we sat, was very tight. We were literally against the table both sides. For us, prob not a return anytime soon. We’ll be trying other longview mexican places to eat.

I had a pick up order and really thru no fault of the lady behind the desk, it took a bit longer than it should have to get my order. I feel like they may have been short handed as she was handling several jobs. She was very pleasant tho and did her best to provide great service. The food is awesome!

It’s been a long week, and I cannot describe how much my boys and I just needed a time out to just enjoy dinner and have some decent conversation. Our server was on top.of everything, at all times. My taco salad primo (shrimp) was exactly the way I wanted it. My boys both had the wet burrito, and there was clearly no issues, as they didn’t last long, lol.

The Door was heavy opening it to go in. I find myself fairly strong for who I am and I had a great deal of issue of opening it
I noticed they had a large stock of booster seats
Place was clean, even all of the decor and knickknacks above we’re free of dust and cobwebs. The only thing I could see that needed a bit of cleaning was the restrooms. Broken tiles and door locks
My waitress Kaylee was phenomenal. She was Johnny on the spot with my refill and was not the hover waitress. She anticipated my needs and wants which was exactly what is needed in her profession. She had great recommendations and helped me with ordering exactly what I was looking for. Making sure there were substitutions for the meat.
The carbon to syrup ratio on the Dr Pepper was like crack
Tons of orders coming and going & that’s a great sign
I walked out of there so very full

We love getting the fajita beef quesadillas! They have the best salsa and green sauce. Their service is always super fast and friendly. Definitely a family favorite.
