Visited here while I was in town for work. Had some bubble tea along with some spicy fried chicken. Overall pleased with my food and drink. I took my food to go so I only spent a few minutes in the restaurant but the atmosphere seemed to be okay and clean. Would love to come back on another occasion to report back on the ramen

I have been dining at this restaurant for over 4 years.
I really don’t like the new changes to the menu/food items in the past 2 or less years since the new take over.
I was not going to return since my last visit, but gave them another chance.
I ordered my usual Korean chicken wings. It was okay. I stayed away from the bulgogi wraps, as the last time I ordered it, had no flavor.

I am extreeeeeemly disgusted with this place. I received my Uber eats order today and I found a ROACH in my RAMEN! Immediately threw up. This store (and I have ordered from other locations before) is not up to health standards! DO NOT EAT HERE!

I like that the staff are bilingual, they were really kind and efficient. I ordered the spicy chicken noodles and they really were spicy, it was delicious! I also ordered the California rolls and they were really good as well. Overall I’m happy with the 2 Domoishi I’ve visited so far!

We were served by Pamely and she was amazing! She was nice, polite and gave great recommendations! I wish more places had great servers like her.
Both the Peach Berry tea and poke I ordered were fresh and delicious. The poke bowl was huge! The place was really clean, and the atmosphere was relaxing yet modernly decorated. I noticed they also serve Ramen and water is freely available with cucumber slices in it, which was a nice healthy touch. Will try next time!
We’ll definitively go again and can’t wait for the Domoishi in Harbour View, Suffolk to open!

The other locations the wings were good, but at this location the wings are not the same. The wings barely had flavor, were kinda dry, and not fry crispy with breading like the other locations. There needs to be consistency.

I order here a lot. And my food is always fresh and quick with the two ladies that they work to death. I got my food in a paper bag. Poke bowl, crab rangoons, spring rolls and the bag broke FROM THE BOTTOM. I spent 35$ that first go round and he’s telling me I need to pay an entire new order for your negligence to order more domoishi bags for the heavy food that has no business going in a paper bag. The bags they usually offer are thick cloth like and do not rip unless torn at or cut. Be careful I hear this guy overworks his people so be nice to the crew at the counter. They are trying their best.

I ordered from here just now and opened the bag to see a bowl with the base layer of rice and nothing else. Zip. Photo shows it. Tried to call over and over, but no one answered, and the voice mail is full. Probably full of a bunch of other folks who paid 17 bucks for a cup of rice.

This is my first time visiting ramen noodles, we are supposed to select the broth type, there are four kinds in it Plain Shoyu, Shoyu Miso, Chicken Shoyu, Tonkotsu Shoyu from the above I can either select mild or spicy for the spice level. I have ordered Chicken Shoyu.
Tonkotsu Shoyu, it pork based broth therefore, I did not select it.
Shoyu Miso, I do not what Shoyu Miso, I didn’t mind asking as I was more inclined to try Chicken Shoyu.
Plain Shoyu, I do not think it will be any different from the Chicken Shoyu.
Coming to the protein, I went with Chicken Chashu because I am a chicken person.
The meal was so good, I really liked the flavour of the broth, It is really good when it’s served hot.
Ingredients, I went with everything since, It was my first time. Bamboo shoots were really good, I could see corn, beans, onions, omelette, scallions. I had no idea about seaweed and wood ear however, I liked everything I eat. I wouldn’t say I had Omelette, it was an egg cut into two pieces they have mildly roasted egg yolk after they cut it into two half.
Noodles are wheat based, they were thin and long, they were really good, I like them more when I compare them with the rice noodles.
Overall, the broth with the noodles is so good, I loved it so much, it reached my expectations, I was able to savor the flavour and serving it hot made it exotic.
Specialty Drinks
I have ordered Mango funtime, it a green tea made with fresh mangoes and mango jelly, we can select the sweetness levels I went with 50% sweetness and added mango flavour to it, there are many other flavours you could try. I didn’t choose any toppings as they were charged 0.50$ cents each. Later I regretted with that decision when I saw others adding the toppings, different colors were added to the drink which made the drink so unique and alluring. Fresh mangos were floating at the top of the drink, I had all of them once the liquid is over.
As I had an expectation of how ramen noodles would be I was not really excited by looking at the food, but the green tea made my day, I was delighted with the drink. However, since, the drink was sweet and cold, I didn’t enjoy it with the broth, cause’ later was more of hot and spicy. Therefore, I relished the drink after having the broth. Do not forget to order the drink it were unique and authentic

The service was alright. We were the only customers there and it was lunch time. My friend order shrimp and crabmeat with chicken base. I had their take on Tonkotsu. My dish was crazy salty. My eggs were previously soaked in soy sauce. Didn’t care for it. The noodles weren’t ramen noodles. They looked like soba noodles. My fish cakes were stuck together. The sliced pork and edamame was nice. It’s filling and okay. I honestly liked the drink I got *Lychee Rose* more.
