I was craving sushi today, but it seemed like most of the places around me were closed on Sundays except for Domo Sushi which I had never been to. Typically, I only go to a new restaurants if it has a 4.6 star rating or above. This place only had 4.4, but I really wanted Sushi – so I gave it a try. OMG this place was EXCELLENT! The food was melt in your mouth amazing and most importantly fresh! It is very comparible to the sushi you get at Sugar Fish at Marina Del Rey, but much cheaper! The service was excellent, we were treated well and we were constantly checked on. The atmosphere was good too, clean and it was lit just right – not too dark and not too bright. I wish I would have thought of taking pictures before starting to eat, but I was hungry ♀️. I had the Pink Lady, the Dragon, and the Sashimi Cucumber. This is definitely going to be added to my go often spots for sushi

We are into the no rice rolls and this place delivers high quality selections, packed with great ingredients and super fresh fish, paired with creativity and skill. Three musketeers is a must try. Staff is very friendly. Local fav spot.

Domo Sushi is my favorite place to eat in Anaheim Hills! The owners and sushi chefs are so caring and attentive. Every time I eat here, I am more than satisfied. The fish is always fresh and delicious!

I thought I’d check this place out. Our first time here tonight. The menu was not what I expected. It was not only dirty and sticky but also hard to picture what the food would look like. I had to check on Google to check what others had ordered. The house salad with crabmeat was good. The Alaska Roll, (Salmon), the rice was too soft, so it would fall off when I picked it up with the chopsticks. The Protein Roll my hubby ordered looked like a great size of the protein. He also got Cold Sake 300ml, in a bottle for a ridiculous price! We didn’t know how much it was until we got the bill.
House Salad $4.95, with crabmeat $3.00; Protein Roll $23.95; Alaska Roll $13.95; and the cold Sake for $13.95. So today I checked online to write this review, I realized the menu prices were lower than what they charged us. This is ridiculous! Also, putting the chairs on the table before we could leave, was a sign to get out I guess. I don’t think we will come back.

fantastic sushi spot with more than just basic veg options – love the Mango Tango roll with sweet potato tempura, avocado, and mango and the spicy garlic edamame appetizer

Food was really good. Atmosphere was friendly and clean. They did forget about one of the rolls that were ordered but other than that the food was really good. They brought it out quickly upon realization. Will definitely return!

Update: Finally opened after Covid. So good to have them back, awesome lunch again. Original post: We had a business lunch and the food was really fresh and flavorful. Good service with a friendly owner/chef.

Came here for lunch. I was greeted kindly at the door, seated immediately and was served a drink. The hostess was very sweet and professional. I ordered the Chirashi and it came with salad and miso soup. The dressing was great and appeard to be freshly prepared. The miso soup was hot and good. The Chirashi was a good assortment of fish and came with tomago that was prepared in house and tasted amazing. The rice was the best part and the bowl came with a generous portion. I was very impressed with the service and the food. A great lunch and I will return given the opportunity.

Solid food, prepared and presented nicely. Fish is okay, it’s what you should expect at that price.

I haven’t updated this review since the new owners took over a few years ago. Even with the change, this place continues to be my favorite sushi spot. My order is Firecracker, Jaws Roll and Toro Boat. The Toro Boat is a must. I don’t know how they do it but it just melts in my mouth. TORO BOAT!!!
