Have always had an excellent experience. Since changing owners I have felt an even more customer focused experienced. We had the pleasure of having their new menu items and I would recommend this to anyone in the area looking for quality hand crafted sushi.

Stopped here for a breather after driving 4 hours on a cross country trip. Couldn’t have picked a better place to sample. Not too many Japanese restaurants close to home.
Wasn’t too hungry but their specials board boasted some amazing looking dishes.
Ended up with some fried beef gyoza and Harumaki. Both were amazing, hot, and fresh! The Harumaki did squirt a bit when biting into it, keep a napkin close or a bib.
Word to the wise, give this place a try. You will end up going there more than once, for sure!

Aug 10, 2021 – This was our first time dining at Domo since the pandemic struck. Not much has changed except that clear partitions have been installed between some tables. We ordered the Spicy Chicken Bento Box (includes sushi, California rolls, shrimp & vegetable tempura, rice with choice of miso soup or salad) and the Gop Dol Bi Bim Bap (assorted vegetables over rice with beef and egg in a stone bowl with miso soup). Both were great. For those who have never had their meal served in a searing hot stone bowl, the rice touching the bowl is sizzling and made crispy. I suggest that you start stirring and turning the food as soon as it is brought to your table or it may burn. The service was great as always… The staff took our orders promptly and stopped by regularly to check on our drinks.

This place is wonderful, a great find! My boyfriend and I came in on a Sunday evening and had a lovely experience. We ordered 2 appetizers and 3 rolls which were fabulous. You could tell that the seafood and rice were fresh and well seasoned. We also had some mochi ice cream which was just the right balance of flavor and sweetness. Our server was also super sweet and friendly and the atmosphere was nice with great background music. I highly recommend this place for sushi lovers!

This is our favorite sushi spot in town! The food is always fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Tony, one of the owners, is incredibly accommodating and always makes us feel so welcome—he truly goes above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, everything is top-notch. Highly recommend the spicy tuna, the birthday roll, and letting the chef surprise you with something special. You won’t be disappointed!

There is another Japanese restaurant after we visited Round Valley Reservoir. But this one is on the same route to home. So we decide to give this Japanese restaurant a try. Turns out to be a great experience. Chirashi has a good selection of raw fish and the amount is reasonable compared to some Japanese restaurant of which fish is as thin as paper. Nabe yaki udon is even better with chewy noodles and HUGE crunchy and well fried shrimp tempura.

We stumbled upon this place while traveling, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The interior was clean, and all the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. It didn’t feel like our first time here—it had a warm, family-like atmosphere. Even though our visit was short, our family had a truly delicious and happy time. Our kids especially loved the sweet and sour pork, and the yaki udon and rolls were also amazing. We absolutely recommend this place! ❤️
