I placed my order, the app said it would be ~20 minutes. We pull up 40 minutes later and wait at the window for 5 minutes, a woman comes to the window and says my order is in the oven. No problem, Ill wait.
Another girl comes to the window 5 minutes later and tells me my pizza (singular, yet I ordered 2 and cheesebread) got stuck to the screen and they need to remake it. I ask to cancel my order because Ive got a hungry 2 year old screaming in the back seat. The employee apologizes, but then upon trying to cancel my order realized, my order was still on the make line screen. 45 minutes after order at this point and they hadn’t even *started* to make my pizza.
Then she tells me shes sorry because they’re extremely busy and only have one person working, apparently forgetting I had already talked to two people. Then when I drove around the building to leave, another employee was walking across the street to the gas station; because apparently being 40 minutes behind on the make line doesn’t warrant waiting a bit longer for a break.
Slowness is forgivable, mistakes are forgivable, but lying to a customer is neither of those things. It’s a blatant attempt to avoid accountability.
