I placed a large family order and attempted to pay with cash ($100 bill) for a ~$64 total. I understand stores sometimes have limits on large bills. However, instead of offering alternatives or calmly explaining the situation, the interaction escalated unnecessarily.
I was told the store could not make change and that accepting my payment would somehow prevent them from operating for the rest of the night. When I tried to clarify and find a reasonable solution, the person identifying himself as the owner stated he didn’t like my “attitude,” refused service, and hung up the phone.
What made this especially frustrating is that I was polite, upfront about needing change, and had four kids in the car. I was also willing to tip and resolve the situation in multiple ways. Being refused service and spoken to that way over a normal payment method felt completely unnecessary.

I’m not disputing a store’s right to refuse large bills — I’m disappointed by the lack of professionalism and basic de-escalation. This location seems to advertise cash acceptance while being unprepared or unwilling to handle it. All it says online/on the door is drivers carry less then 20$ WHICH IS WHY I WENT TO PICK IT UP.
This location is so strapped it can’t operate a Tuesday night without 30 in change bankrupting them. I might set up a gofundme.
This is the 5th time I’ve ordered from this location for a daddy daughter night. Every time it take almost 2 hours to get our pizza. This time I tried to call to change to pick up and sat on hold on and off for 30 minutes. After getting our 4 year old into the car and drive up there finally was able to talk to someone. The app tracker never updated and the driver was just sitting in his car waiting to leave. After talk with the “store manager” she said the phone is broken, 5 minutes later the driver finally pulls out to leave and that’s when she told me oh it must have already gone out. Pizza and bread was all cold and just not good. Tried to use the app to say something but it still shows as order not delivered. Never order from this store and I will never again.
