The staff (including someone named Riley and another who said “hope”) were extremely rude about it. One told me that’s fine, they’ll just throw the pizza away anyway, and then said I “needed to learn to read English” because of the sign. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful, no apology, no attempt to help, just attitude.
I’ve never seen a pizza place turn away cash like this over a common bill, especially when it’s clearly posted but still poor customer service. The pizza might be fine, but the way they treat people is terrible. Avoid this location if you’re paying cash.

Thank you for the response, Mohammad.
I appreciate the apology and the offer to make things right, but I wasn’t looking for compensation, a free pizza, or any handout. The core issue was the store’s policy of refusing common $50 bills (with a sign on the door stating no bills larger than $10), combined with the extremely rude and unprofessional way it was handled. Staff told me they’d just throw the pizza away anyway, and one employee said I needed to “learn to read English” because of the sign, despite me being perfectly capable of reading it and understanding the policy. That kind of attitude and disrespect was unnecessary and made the experience much worse.
Policies like this exist at some locations (often for safety/change reasons, from what I’ve seen), but the way customers are treated when they run into it matters. I simply wanted to pick up my paid-for order with cash I had on hand, and instead left without it due to inflexibility and poor service. No need to reach out privately, I’m just sharing this publicly so others know what to expect at this location.
Thanks again.
This comment was inappropriate, disrespectful, and offensive. Regardless of store policy, there is no justification for speaking to a customer this way. This reflects poorly on the brand, and I hope management takes this complaint seriously and addresses staff training and professionalism.
