I’ve ordered delivery from this location many times, never had a problem. Food was always good, hot, delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Last order never made it to me. I received a call the next day from a guy on the other side of the Island. He said my food was left under his house some time the night before. Wrong street, wrong house number, wrong side of the island. The address provided them, was complete and correct, and they’ve delivered here many times before. Don’t ever use the tip up front option if you order online, the driver may just get a generous tip and you’ll get nothing.

Always thought of this store as a better Domino’s than southport until the bill was 27.00 and winston took my 40 .00 and just assumed he earned a 13.00 tip for driving 4 streets. I handed him 40. Never once asked if i wanted change and just got in his car and left. Hope it was worth a customer.

Manager is rude & running a scam. I ordered pizza online Friday night for Saturday delivery for a sick friend. I paid when I placed the order. My friend was made to pay for the order a second time. I called the store & spoke with manager. Who claimed the orders done overnight were getting voided out. I asked him since he was aware of it, why wasn’t he checking the orders. He told me that was crazy. And he didn’t have time for that. The charge was made to my credit card. It was not pending. So they got paid twice for the same order. I’m waiting on a call back from corporate. I will never spend another dime there!

I was on Oak Island for a vacation. I ordered my pizza on a Saturday night, knowing in advance that it would take longer than normal. When I went to the location, I could see that the team was working as hard as they could to get all the orders out. I understood that it would take 30 to 40 more minutes for me to get my pizza. The team was working hard, they were upbeat and positive, and fun to watch. What annoyed me were visitors that came to the location expecting their pizzas to be done in 15 minutes. I saw visitors, walking to the register and literally getting into an argument with the employee that was working there. People were walking out with 8 to 10 pizzas each while other people expected their one or two pizzas to be done in 15 minutes. My pizza was hot, tasty, and made exactly as I ordered it. The next time I come back to Oak Island, I will definitely order another pizza from Domino’s.

Pizza looked good upon opening the box. Toppings looked good but the pizza dough was undercooked. Made the mistake of not reading reviews first. Lesson learned considering this seems to be a common thing here. I thought can’t be hard its pizza right!? WRONG! Ordered pan pizza, picked it up got home took a bite and dough was not cooked! Got a remake, which was simple enough however, even the remakes were not fully cooked and still doughy.

My family and I are on vacation here in Oak Island and the kids wanted pizza for dinner the second day here. We ordered almost $50 in food and the delivery service was excellent. However, one of the pizzas was burnt. We order the SAME pizza back home and it isn’t burnt, so I felt this was unacceptable. We tried to call the system to see if the pizza could be remade with all intentions of returning the other pizza, but the system kept hanging up on us. So, I drove to Dominos with the pizza and walked up to the cashier and asked if she could have our pizza remade? She proceeded to ask why? I opened the box and showed her the pizza, said it was burnt, and asked once more if they could just remake my pizza. She told the manager and his reply was “the pizza will turn out the same way because it is thin crust.” So, I asked if they could remake it with hand-tossed crust? I went and sat down and called my fiancé and talked to him for 22 minutes before I realized the employees were just letting me sit there and wait for nothing. So, I called my fiancé and asked him to come to dominos in the other vehicle. He was there in less than 5 minutes. He walked in, and they asked if they could help him? He said “I am just here to see if you are finished with the pizza she asked you to remake?” The manager said we told her we weren’t remaking it because it would come out the same way. He wasn’t professional. Another one of the employees picked up our pizza, took a piece, and broke it in half and said “is that burnt to you – are you kidding me?” So, we just asked for a refund of the one pizza that they refused to remake. We got a FULL refund. I would not recommend ordering from people like this. They were rude and the cashier was on her phone. To top it off, the manager said “now get out of my store.”

I suppose 2.5 stars would be what I rate my experience today. Pizza was pretty good as ordered, but the cookie brownies tasted expired/undercooked. Management did not seem to take much interest in my complaint.
Perhaps I’m the only one to complain about it, but I will say this looks nothing like what Dominos advertises. I should have know to read store reviews. I would have considered other options.

They did not acknowledge me at all when I walked in to pick up my food, so I was not even sure they knew I was there. I had three items in my order, and they gave me the wrong sandwich for one of them, despite it being specified on the app and multiple times on the receipt. I am thoroughly disappointed at the lack of monitoring that the correct item is being made for the order the sandwich I got was extremely different then the one I ordered so there is no way to misread it.

We went for pizza at 7:00pm Friday 6/20/25 yes it was a wait however I witnessed the staff all working non stop and still as polite as can be. Manger had a few issues he handled very professional. Pizza and wings were worth the wait. Keep up the hard work and thanks for the great service!
