I haven’t received my food yet; however Shayla (sp?) Was extraordinaire with my call and my requests the online ordering did not offer. She was polite, understanding, and repeated everything back to me! Awesome person Domino’s has as an employee! I do believe Domino’s needs to update their app to accommodate special orders better. I wanted to add extra sauce to an item and couldn’t ordering online? You’d think they’d welcome another “dime”. Regardless, Shaela (again spelling?) was focused on making the customer happy!

We order from this dominos all the time and I hate having to give a poor review, however when I called to check on our delivery twice tonight (the 2nd time was because the app said pizza had been delivered when it had not yet been delivered) the person I spoke to was rude and not helpful at all. After our just cheese pizza was delivered 1 hr 30 min after ordering it it was cold of course. We will no longer order from the surf city dominos location.

Ordered at 6:30. Said it would be delivered at 6:47. 2.2 miles down the street by 7:20 I called the store after it said delivered but had not been. She said it was dispatched and there was a glitch in the system. Finally got our food at 7:58pm. Never again, late and cold food. We will send someone for pickup if we ever order again.

I just tried to place an order at this Domino’s location. I placed my order over an hour before I called to check in on my pizza because the app said they hadn’t even put it in the oven — it was still listed as “prepping.”

This is the third time I’ve had to call and check on my food from this location, and each time I’ve been met with a nasty, rude attitude, blaming the volume of customer orders for their inability to keep up. I have no choice but to order from this location for delivery — and they consistently fail to deliver (literally and figuratively).

I have given them grace three times, but all they ever give are excuses. And again today, I was told my pizza still hadn’t been made over an hour after placing the order.

For the record, I know how to talk to people. I’ve had years of experience in customer service and communication. In my experience, I would have been fired immediately if I ever spoke to a customer the way this staff has spoken to me — not once, not twice, but three separate times.

I will be leaving this review here, on Google, on Yelp, and I’m considering posting on our local Facebook community page. If I have to take it to social media to be heard, then I will.

And to top it off? They canceled my order because I got an attitude back with them — so now not only have I waited an hour and a half for food I’m not getting, but there’s also a $30+ charge on my card that I won’t get refunded for days.

Ordered a pizza to an address they usually deliver to… waited well over an hour for two calls where they told me they took it to the wrong address. When called by in-store… they basically told me that my order had to be picked up and wouldn’t be delivered… after an hour of waiting.
Manager pretended to ignore me on the phone when asking questions but heard every word and hung up immediately when I asked for a refund.

Only Dominos I’ve ever ordered from that when you have a nationwide coupon for a 2-topping pizza will still charge you for the 2nd topping hoping you won’t notice. Even if it’s just a regular topping, nothing special. No, it’s not that much money ($1), but it’s the principle and false advertising that’s the issue. Enough people do t notice and that $1 stacks up quick. The location I order from when I’m home (20 minutes away) doesn’t charge for the 2nd topping in the app, so it’s not a bug in the app. Ordered from here last week and the app said about 30-45 min for delivery. Was still “Preparing” an hour later. I understand that this location gets busy in the summer but the app knows how many orders are in and pretty sure it adjusts accordingly, seeing as how estimated delivery times vary with each order. When I called to see what was going on, I was told the store was “too busy” to speak to a manager with an “I don’t care” attitude behind it.

This review has nothing to do with our delivery driver because he was beyond amazing and understanding, but the woman who took our order was beyond rude. I explained to her the app didn’t work and I had no choice but to call, and she tried everything she could to dismiss and ignore me during the order. Our delivery driver was kind but we just sat down and opened our food and it’s not even right. This is not okay!!

Pizza is always cut poorly. Some tiny pieces, some huge. Missing part of our order. Called to ask where was the rest, and they said they were out. We asked why they still charged us, and we were hung up on. Very poor customer service.

I ordered a pizza and included my hotel and room number in the purchase and in the special instructions twice. The delivery driver came and asked a random lady if the pizza was hers and when she said no he left he didn’t come back for another 10 minutes and was very rude about it. I also did not get my sauces. Do not tip until you make sure you have what you paid for and in a timely fashion.
