The order went fine, took a bit longer than usual but the driver (Holly, than maybe Thomas) drove it, entered our neighborhood. Drove uphill and downhill and left, marking the pizza delivery as complete. Guess what, it wasnt. We called the number multiple times, with no response.
We called the store and the “manager” tried to help us, and I’m fairly sure she couldn’t manage helping herself lick a stamp. She fumbled around and couldt find the order by number, than not by name, than not by address. We named the driver and the response was “Oh, well she tried to contact you.” To where we let her know about the issues (for the 3rd time) and she said “She needs to make another delivery first is that ok?” We responded “Do we have a choice?” To which I can only describe as a Karen HOA leader saying “Great, have a good night.” Yes… it was as bad as your brain made it.
Needless to say it has been well over an hour with no forward progress on this pizza. Enough time for me to write this small novel. I would advise you at all costs avoid this establishment and use Groton and go pick it up yourself. At least they have brain cells enough to actually answer questions…
Well its been almost 90 minutes, and we got a call from this same manager saying to go outside so she can find us, and after standing outside for like 5 minutes we got a call that the lady was “about” to leave Mystic with our pizza. We asked them if it was the same food that was made over an hour ago? Her response “Well its should stay hot for at least two hours.”
I don’t know if it was the 2nd or 13th time i asked her to cancel my order that she finally realized it was time to refund me. What a miserable waste of my life that was.
Delivery app said my food was delivered 10 minutes before it even arrived, the driver was extremely rude (I’ll keep it polite) who only said “you’re the guy” to me as he all but threw my food at me and walked away without making sure I was good to go with my order.
The chicken bites were burnt, not just a little crispy on the sides but burnt. My coke wasn’t even given to me with my order yet I paid for it. The ONLY reason it’s getting 2 stars is because my sandwich was good and the delivery was still fast eventhough the app was inaccurate
