I visited the store to see if it was the same Dominic’s Pizza that was located next to Pathmark many years ago, and was shocked by the attitude of the guy behind the counter. He was the only one seen in the store when I asked a question. I’m sick of some of these people and have no problem seeing them return home on a one-way ticket.

Overpriced and Overcooked – Not Worth It
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the menu with all the prices blacked out with magic marker—definitely not a good sign. How much are you charging me??? But I gave it a shot anyway, and I seriously regret it.
Almost $5 per slice (I got 3) and what did I get? A rock-hard crust that seems like they used a frozen dough, bland sauce, and all around cheap ingredients, the cheese was okay. It was so overcooked that every bite felt like chewing on a cracker, and not in a good way. I like a stiff crust but come on. For that price, I expected something fresh and delicious, but this was just disappointing. My wife and I didn’t even finish all of it, and WE love pizza…. (Still hungry)
Save yourself the frustration (and your money) and go somewhere that actually cares about quality. Never coming back!

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience at Dominick’s where I overheard a manager belittling and humiliating his employee in front of everyone. He said to the employee “I don’t need your mistakes [profanity] up my business. If you do one more mistake you’re done after today. I don’t need you [profanity] up this business when I can run it by myself. Don’t forget that.” And kept repeating it in his employees face OVER AND OVER again. The employee, who very obviously had just started out in this location, was apologizing profusely and trying to be as perfect as possible. Unfortunately, he did something that ticked off his manager and the manager said “don’t come back tomorrow.” And continued to repeat it again and again while the employee was still trying to work. It was heartbreaking. I have done food service roles before and learning all the ins and outs takes time and is a learning curve. I feel for the employee in this situation and wish he knows that he provided excellent service to me. The manager however, made this such a horrid experience. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. OVER PRICED food (that is not worth the price) and hostile work environment. To the manager at this establishment, if you do not have the patience to train and have empathy for your employees then I suggest looking for experienced staff members that have worked in pizzerias before you hire them. You could’ve taken this employee to the back or had a debrief after the day was over. Not hurt and demean him as you did. I will not be coming back here and I suggest others do the same .

Pizza is delicious. Brings me back to when I was a kid, The recipe never changed. Although I miss their old original location, the new one is still as good; clean, updated and has plenty of seating.

They had only old pizza nothing fresh, I can count the amount of slices they had to sell and this was only at 5pm. The guy never cut me 2 slices instead gave me 1 big pizza that i had to cut myself once i got home. The slice was no better than the 1 dollar NY pizza shops you find all over.

Best pizza I’ve had recently. When I was a kid all the pizza in Jersey was phenomenal. Now it’s a struggle find a decent slice. Dominick’s is pizza the way it used to be. Only place I’ll order from. Looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu. Extremely clean place too! Service is great!

This is a story from a past and only experience. I decided to order a pizza from this embarrassment of an establishment. Now in order to instill some responsibility in my granddaughter, I asked (on the phone) how much the total for the pie was. The nerve and audacity of the scoundrel that spoke with me on the phone said to me and I quote “if you have to ask for the price you probably can’t afford it” this was one of the worst interactions I have ever had with someone in the service industry. Like, how are you supposed to pay for something with cash if you don’t know how much it costs. Unfortunately, I had promised my granddaughter pizza so I ended and our usual spot was closed for the week since the owner and his family went on vacation.
TLDR: terrible customer service and even worse pizza would not recommend. That 3.5 star does not lie.

The worker was tremendously unprofessional and rude. I don’t think it matters in what way you pay as long as you pay. The worker was rude to my son, asking if he was broke and didn’t have money to pay for the pizza, when my son stated that he wanted to pay in Apple Pay. I don’t believe it was his business if he was broke or not, and what mattered was he was paying. So that was a complete jerk. I don’t think you deserve to work there and be unprofessional to minors.
