Domenic’s and Vinnie’s is a community favorite dedicated to serving our award-winning pizza to the great city of Waterbury, Connecticut. Our pies are made with locally sourced fresh ingredients. All our doughs and sauces are made in-house, while our toppings are carefully selected to complement an authentic Italian-American cuisine experience. Our great recipes trace back generations to our family’s Italian roots. Business founder, Domenic Trocchi, moved to the U.S. in 1925 to pursue the “American Dream.” He opened up a pizza parlor in 1949 and its success surpassed his expectations. The business has been making pizza for more than 70 years and has always been family-owned.

I have been getting my pizza at Domenic and Vinnie forever and it never varies always great, but I ordered my favorite large pizza on 10/31 and was the worst I have ever had. Has Something Changed, it 2as thin, sauce was burnt, and very dry very disappointed.

My boyfriend and I had dinner here Saturday night! It was absolutely delicious!! We got a large pepperoni, medium sausage and a large salad. The portions are huge. The large salad could feed a family of 5 and the large pepperoni could feed more than that. You get a big bang for your buck here!!! We definitely ordered way too much food lol, but we took home amazing leftovers. The staff was very friendly and we can’t wait to go back!!

D&V offers a pie that you dont come across often. Their dough is like old world rustic giving you a hearty thick base and pronounced crust w/lots of chew and serious bite. Their sauce is somewhat mild in one sense but also has an old school feel to the seasoning blend they use. Their cheese is a very good quality. Plus ordering a large me and my kid were handed a hefty square pie in a paper bag, thats hype presentation. Their was nice charring on the slices and the smell when cracking the bag open was A1 overall really impressed I mean check the cracking on the crust pic ppl!… Square cut slices are always fun too. My only poins off came in the form of overall salt levels from dough to cheese it just was a bit too high for me. Outside of that I can’t argue. The price was a bit on the high side but then a large is reallllly effin large and one slice is pretty dense tbh you can get a few ppl in on a pie n not be shorted. So def worth a try if you’re a pizza fan and I’ll be back around again sometime soon myself.

Love their food! Pizza is great. Employees are friendly and courteous. Loved their special$25 pizza and salad combo. Will be back and highly recommend. Love a community pizza place that truly takes the time to acknowledge each customer and treat them respectfully and then deliver a great meal! Only wish they had Coke instead of Pepsi beverages.
